Ok, So I know pretty much everyone is wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, so here it is, for the ten millionth and first time x3
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY TURKEY DAY =D
On another, not-so-happy turkey day note..
I went into my kitchen to get something to drink and I could hear my ma and pa talking about debt in the next room. So the whole time I'm opening and closing the fridge door getting out eggnog and milk, they're talking about this. So it's not eavesdropping, is it? I mean, they're the ones talking loudly enough for me to hear and I'm clearing in the fridge making noise.
Anyways.. My pa was talking about how last summer my ma cost a lot x__o I was part of that expense 'case I also got a new computer over the summer of last year.
I think I'd rather not go to a private school and get a job to help pay the bills they need help on so they don't go farther into their debt. My pa can't seem to get any overtime at his work 'cause others get it before him and my ma is a teacher so she can't really get overtime. Maybe if she taught at the high school level were she can get paid extra for subbing/doing detention, but she doesn't, so Dx
Damn it D<
What the hell is wrong with our economy or whatever it is that is in charge of the ridiculous cost of living!
Maybe I'll just work even harder at school so I'm putting their money to good work =D Bah, I'm such a joke, like I would ever do that o__< I'm too lazy. But maybe it'll be good for me to work a bit harder!
I think that's enough talk about horribleness for Thanksgiving n.n

That being said, you don't necessarily have to jump up and get a job right away. The trick is to be understanding, and do little things to help out. Don't ask for pocket money for the weekends. Don't suggest elaborate gifts for Christmas, or ask to eat at expensive restaurants. Offer to cook dinner in the evening so your parents can have a little break since they're working so hard. smile Stuff like that. They'll appreciate it, and you'll feel better about things cause you'll know you're helping. heart
Happy Thanksgiving Yuki!!
*goes off to gobble some turkey*
