Way too quickly, if you ask me.
I feel like it should still be last week. These days are just going by faster and faster, and it sucks. Dx
Anyways, Christmas was fun for me. My grandmother surprised me, though. Usually I get a ton of things from her, but this year, I only got the Gurren Lagann DVD box set, a little gashopon from the series, an Evangelion DS game that's in Japanese (it came with an awesome NERV DS case, and a little screen cleaner), and one of those blankets that you can zip up to make a wrap. There were also other little things, like a three-month subscription to XBox Live, and an American Eagle gift card. I like what i got, but usually she goes crazy. Seemed like the adults were more of a focus for her this year, though.
My mom got me most of the awesome stuff, surprisingly. Most of the time, she's the one who deviates away from the list they make me write, but mostly because of the fact that my grandmother hordes it. Sometimes I don't mind, unless if it's more hand lotion. Both of them like getting me a bottle each every year, to which I don't use. My hands never dry out, for some reason.
But yeah. From my momma, I got the Lucky Star box sets 2 and 3, the Evangelion box set, the new Trauma Center game for the Wii, a make your own lightsaber kit (I love lightsabers, though I can't say I like Star Wars all too much), and a bunch of little things. Right now, I'm wearing this uber-warm bathrobe that she bought me. x3
Either way, gifts or not, I enjoyed my Christmas. I just wish that my uncle and his kids still lived nearby (not so much his wife). They all recently moved to Arizona, because my uncle was offered a better job down there. It also would have been nice to see my aunt, too. She lives in Seattle, but hasn't been able to travel recently due to her illness. I haven't seen her in a couple of years. I miss the joke gifts, and the awesome knit stuff that she brings. She's an artist, so I usually get something cooky, something knit, or something artsy. One year, she gave me a cool, light-up spiked collar, and the next it was this really neat loopy scarf with matching, fingerless gloves. x3
New Years passed by differently than usual for me. Usually the house is all tired out by my little brother, but he was gone for the festivities at my grandmother's house. My parents and I were able to go out to dinner without having to rush, and were able to sit in peace for once. For most of the late night, I was making cakes for Dalndox's birthday. I discovered a show that's actually pretty good on Adult Swim, too: Moral Orel. It had me up until 7 in the morning because there was a marathon. lD
Hopefully the next couple of days aren't too fast for me. It'd be better if they moved fast like this during the school year. But I don't see that happening. Stupid time!
Well, I suppose that's all I have for now. My brain feels incoherent.
Ciao!
