I just finished playing my 2nd run of Radiata Stories today and despite its fun and lighthearted disposition, the endings were just -- for lack of a better term -- perplexing. Okay, so they weren't the "happy ending" I was hoping for. Maybe I did something wrong in the game. Just how many endings does this game have anyway?

I really liked this game. It felt so refreshing. The story wasn't so linear. It actually felt like I was living Jack's everyday life and I'm not pressured to doing this or that. You have the option on what jobs to take since the story is triggered by the number of days. And, the daily routine of everyone in all towns just make it more believable.

Although the character recruitment is a nice feature, in the end you won't use everyone you just recruited. I already mentioned this in my old entry and compared it to the suikoden series -- the 5th installment of which looks absolutely fabulous. Really now, who uses those farmers?!

I refuse to play it a 3rd time though if there aren't any other endings left aside from the two perplexing ones I just saw. Okay, so the human path ending wasn't "perplexing"... it was tragic.

Last few thoughts before I move on... who the heck came up with Ridley's final suit of armor?! I mean, come on! They look like she snatched them from someone's fence or something. I now know why jack refused to hug-HUG her -- he'd have his eye poked out of its socket if he did.

My last LAST thoughts... Jack -- needs a better armorer. Seriously. His clothes are either butthuggers or dresses. Though some of them look fine, others just make him look REALLY girly... or gay.
