for all of you who are running inuyasha threads. i am sorry for useing that subject as an example. ok with that out of the way. i have been watching threads for a while and have noticed a few things. like i said i will be using inuyasha threads as a refferance. on many of the threads ive been on the group looses interest in the plot and grow restless. eventually they leave. what you have to reolize is that the person running the thread can't be there all the time and sometimes the other people on the rp need to take things into their own hands. first thing first. you allways need tension in the group. this causes a needed excitement and gets the others interested in your plot. if you have to, make yourself the badguy. because of the set plot of an inuyasha rp, your ideas are limited, but if you look at it from another angel you have a limmetless supply of evil deamons that all want the same thing. if you have to make your own side quest. also you can get a bit deeper into your character's past and bring out the old skeleton in the closet. but like i said the rp needs tension to stay alive. and allways remember. the thread is not dead untill everyone decides to quit it.
once again i apologize for offending some with my rant. and i don't have all the facts so i might be compleetly wrong about my theory. feel free to comment on this. smile
