Chapter 10: This is a phenomenon; there really are no other words for it. (Fragmented)
(This occurs in the Soluna Tower. The siblings, Gabriel and Grace Sylvan live here. Alexander and Maximillian Luminaire came here with a lot other minors from the town. This is their third day. The Sylvans divided the minors into two groups to show them the tower and the ancient legends. Alex and Sabina were going in the group Gabriel Sylvan took. Max was with Grace’s group; today Grace was showing the part of the tower that contained legendary and magical artifacts.)
Maximillian Luminaire
We turned to another hall. Again! Just great. How many halls did this tower have? There were everywhere. This is boring. We’ve been walking and walking and walking. We passed a door, a dark purple door that had a symbol of a black heart with bat-like wings. We passed right through it, and everyone saw it, but the mythical sister didn’t stop to explain what it was or what was inside like she had done with everything else. Weird. But nobody said anything. The group just kept on walking. Nobody asked about the door. So I did. “Hey! Grace. Miss Sylvan?” The mythical sister suddenly stopped, making all the group crash with her. A kid even tripped, smashing his head with the wall and falling to the floor. I had to stop myself from laughing right there. The myth sister looked at me, she seemed annoyed.
“What do you want now, Mr. Luminaire?” Wow, I must really have annoyed her with all my interruptions. He he.
“You didn’t say anything about that door. What’s in there?"
“That place is forbidden. Nobody is allowed inside. “ Her face had turned very serious. As if she was sure that the one that went through that door would suffer a terrible death. Oh please, this siblings were so superstitious. She hadn’t even noticed the kid that was on the floor by her side and that was rubbing this huge bruise he had on his head. My god! It looked like a giant egg. I couldn’t stop myself from laughing this time. “I’m serious, Mr. Luminaire.” The mythical sister kept on. “That area is off limits. Now keep on walking and stay silent.”She started to walk away and the group walked just behind her. The kid with the bruise stood up clumsily and followed the others. Poor guy! The mythical sister hadn’t even noticed him at all. She just left. “Follow me every one. We still have a lot to do.” Said the mythical sister as she and the group took the next turn at the end of the hall. Ha! Now was my chance. She hadn’t even looked back to see if I had left with her. Idiots. I ran back to the door. The black heart was carved to the front of the door and it looked so real. I opened the door and guess what! There was another hall. Jeez, were these freaking halls ever going to end? They were getting to my nerves already. I saw a light at the end of the hall, the only light in this place. It was a weird blue light, it didn’t looked normal. I started walking to the light. I had to hurry and find out what was in here before the mythical sister found out I wasn’t with her anymore. There was a circular room at the end of the hall and in the center there was a statue of a young man, he looked like two years older than me. This is weird. Why would they put off limits a room with only a man’s statue in it? It made no sense but the weirdest part was that the blue light was coming from the statue’s hand. I went toward the statue to take a closer look. The man was in a weird position, he looked like he had been in the middle of an attack but both hands were empty. The one with the light was extended forward. I was getting really curious so I got closer. There was a scar on its palm and it was from the scar that the light was coming off from. My god! This is getting weirder by the second and I was getting really curious. I touched the statue’s hand with my own. Argh!!! Pain shot through my hand… my spine… my head…my whole body. I tried to move my hand so I could stop this but it was glued to the statue. I was frozen in place. The pain was horrible. I was shacking a lot. It felt like if I was being electrocuted. Suddenly the pain stopped and the statue let go of me but I had no energy left. I started falling back at the same time the blue light started to fade. Just before I touched the floor the statue break apart in a million pieces and inside I saw the man looking like a ghost, he flew toward me and then…darkness took me away.

[i:b10b3541c9]We're not pawns of some scripted fate. I believe we're more. Much more. It is the invisible ties we forge between us that bind us, connect us, give us strength. If we preserve them, or break them, it will be by our choices, not some "destiny".[/i:b10b3541c9]
