The origins of Leo have always been shrouded in mystery.
It is known he was human once, a long time ago.
And that his original name was never Leo, he picked this name for himself
based on the Leo Constellation, which was the point in space where his
existance was suddenly changed forever.
The boy of unknown age refuses to elaborate on how this change
occured exactly though.
However, from the enigmatic comments he favors when speaking
I have devised that at some point in time he found himself
somehow in the presence of a star.
A star that had mere moments left of life.
This star was unlike any other, precisely because of the fact
that it was inhabitated by living beings.
Beings that were humanoid in form, although the had the ability of
shape-shifting, and were made entirely of fire or more precisely of the
pure energy of the star itself.
One of this beings, a female called Polaris, that had always longed to
travel the Universe, saw Leo and with him and oportunity of escaping her prison
and the final death that would come with the exploding star.
You see, these Living Flames are immortal but not in the proper way of the word,
for nothing is really eternal and everything has an end,
so they need a life force that sustains them,
which in this case was the star itself.
But that was not to last...Polaris shifted the Connection and latched
herself to Leo's life force, forging a connection between them that
would last for the rest of his existance, and that started his
transformation from human into something else.
This is not the end of the story though, despite what you might have thought.
While Leo got attuned to Polaris and their newly-forged Connection,
he knew he could survive the star's explosion, he knew he had otherworldly abilities,
he knew fire had no effect on him now, so being all curious as he had been
all his life he stayed right to the moment that the star exploded,
that moment being the most magnificent event he had witnessed so far.
He watched as the Gamma Ray Burst sprang forth, one of the two rays of pure energy
missing him by a couple of light years.
He watched as they disappeared into the confines of space.
He watched as other Living Flames met their final death.
He watched as a black hole was formed at the heart of the star.
And he screamed in surprise as he was sucked into it.
Traveling beyong space itself, right into the Time Vortex, Leo suddenly gasped
as he felt the infinite cold of Time, and every moment and event that ever was and ever would be
flashed through his mind at a speed that he simply couldn't cope with.
He would have lost his mind and have simply been erased from existance if in a moment
of desperation, Polaris released an intense amount of pure energy, powered by both her body and Leo's life force,
that created a distortion in Time and Space and enabled them to escape the Void of Nothing.
And not a second too late, for if they had stayed even a second longer they would not have lived to tell the tale. Not that they did so anyway.
Nevertheless, their split second in the Time Vortex did have an effect on them.
Their powers had reversed, inverted.
They were no longer fire. They were ice.
Leo's skin was pale white, his eyes and hair being pitch black,
except that his hair was slightly shiny and white as if it were covered by frost.
He manipulates ice and his aura is freezing.
Also, he has the ability of controlling Time and Space to a certain extent,
enabling him to create black holes,
worm holes, teleport and a variety of other things.
He wears a diamond armor that covers his torso and both arms,
black and white camouflage pants, knuckles on his right hand,
the weapon made of the same material of his armor and that can extend and become a bow that shoots arrows made of pure star energy.
He also wears a crystal necklace on his neck, which is also made of that rare diamond, but that shines blue as if it had a small star trapped inside it.
The boy wields two swords that resemble the hands of a clock,
which can combine to form one strong sword that can give a hard time
to anything in its path.
Polaris still looked like a Living Flame but she was now blue fire.
Devoid of heat and freezing in contact.
She still looked like a small cute humanoid girl
and her nature remained as playful and cheerful as ever.
They travel the stars now. Wandering from shore to distant shore, witnessing the wonders of the Universe...just as they always wanted.

[i:b10b3541c9]We're not pawns of some scripted fate. I believe we're more. Much more. It is the invisible ties we forge between us that bind us, connect us, give us strength. If we preserve them, or break them, it will be by our choices, not some "destiny".[/i:b10b3541c9]
