Catinama "Lot" Lirem

Gender: Female
Personality: rough and tomboyish but fun-loving and loyal as well, can be hot tempered and is not afraid to jump into a fight, be it hers or not. She also has a somewhat untrusting nature and is not likely to delve deep in relationships.

Hight:6'2"
Eyes: Midnight blue
Hair: long dark brown curls worn in a ponytail under her hood
Abilities: attack spells that often take the form of glowing energy bolts or balls. Some other spells show little to no traces, such as telekinetic like spells and basic healing spells.
History: Eldest daughter of a family of mages she grew up being trained in the magical arts. As time went on her parents took to traveling more and more, though they always provided for their daughters at home, leaving them under their Uncle's care. Unfortunately the entrusted uncle was a dark mage and leader of a demonic cult. Seeing his nieces' potential he set out to train them in the dark arts, Lot was in fact once tricked into starting the training but quickly pulled out when she saw the results. When Lot was later pressured to continue the training she followed her parents' examples and took up traveling, often taking spur-of-the-moment trips to random places, both to avoid being found and to help alleviate her inherited "itchy feet" which don't allow her to stay in one place too long
Where she got her name: "Lot" comes from the old bible story about the one good man in a condemned city of evildoers. As a child she was entranced with the story and started using it after leaving home. In Hebrew "Lot" means hidden, appropriate for the girl that always keeps her hood up.
At one point she was captured by a group of rival mages, including her then boyfriend. The group marked her by carving a scar around her left eye and then tattooing it once it was healed.
Candace "Claws" Lirem
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Personality: flirty and full of laughter, she's always got a grin and quirky remark ready. She's not fond of using her powers unless it's to pull a prank or to help someone out. A quick talker, often avoids conflict
Aperence
Hight: 5'11"
Eyes: gray
Hair: long dark brown waves worn loose, covering half her face
Abilities: can create solidifying illusions and trick the senses into false hearing, seeing, and thinking
History: Second daughter of a family of mages she grew up being trained in the ways of an illusionist. As time went on her parents took to traveling more and more, though they always provided for their daughters at home, leaving them under their Uncle's care. Unfortunately the entrusted uncle was a dark mage and leader of a demonic cult. Seeing his nieces' potential he set out to train them in the dark arts. When Claws was pressured to undertake the training she opted to remain at home for a time, skipping lessons and generally ducking the training. When that ceased to work she too left the family home and took to the road, though she is more libel to stay in one place for a long time than her sister.
Where she got her name: her nails are quite long and in close combat she is likely to use them like claws. Her uncle would often mutter "Claws in cat." when arguing with her as she will use her words in a similar manor when angry.
Velvet
Age: ?
Gender: Female
Personality: cool headed and mysterious, is more likely to talk you out of a situation than to fight, very elegant and quiet, Lot's polar oposite
Aperence (exactly like Lot save for the eyes and clothing.)
Hight:6'2"
Eyes: ice blue
Hair: long dark brown curls worn loose under her hood
Abilities: yet to be revealed though most likely similar to Lot's
History: Has no memory of her past or even her name. She will sometimes appear in Lot's absence and make inquiries, trying to discover her past. She is in fact Lot's doppelganger and was created when Lot was first tricked into training in the dark arts. Other times she will show up when Lot uses or comes in contact with dark magic, depending on certain things she may know who she is and who Lot is, and may show a great disdain for her human counterpart (though this only happens when using Lot's body when in her own she is memoryless and curious about the woman who shares her face.)
Where she got her name: the full, dark cloak she wears is made of velvet and is normally the only unusual thing about her appearance. Once while she was makeing inquiries a man began to call her "velvet" in place of a name, it stuck and she begain to go by that name until she can find something better.
