Title: bird in black (part 2)




i walked into town with the crow on my shoulder were he seemed to be home at. we both started looking around with our heads seeing the tall sky scrapers with thousands of reflecting windows. we looked at eachother then we looked at my clothes, tattered black jeans and a torned long sleeve shirt witch i had ripped the sleeves off off as to be cooler in the desert. he then suddenly cawed to get my attention. his beak pointed to a clothes store that was near by. i smiled and ran to it with my giant smile still on my dirt covered face. the man in the store saw me and istantly i saw the disgust in his eyes, he came up to me and with a sny tone said " shew shew, there is no begging in here you worthless bum." it was to funny, right after he said that i reached onto my pocket pulling out a giant stack of hundred dollar bills smiling an even bigger grin. the man took a step back realizing he had just insulted a high paying customer. i told him "go get a tape measure to fit me for a tuxedo, would you kindly." he did so with no hesitation. i walked out wearing an all black tuxedo with a red tie and black gloves with satin coal colored waltzing shoes. the crow seemed impressed with my new clothing. we walked to the nearest pet shop and bought a 10 lb. bag of bird feed. the crow took out a fourth of it. i then weant to a chinese resturaunt and ordered some almond chicken, YUM!!!! i love almond chicken. i ordered another but got full half way. the crow finished off what was left, he must love almond chicken to i thought. then after we had both eaten and i got some clothes i had to figure out what to do next, i couldnt go back because of what was going on. then i noticed the crow was staring at me with an intense stare, but it didnt feel like he was staring at me. then i heard a whispy voice scream "BEHIND YOU!!!!" i turned around and saw a man in in a black tuxedo with a white shirt and a black tie. there here! i saw him pull out a gun and i ran to get behind a tree feeling the air from the bullets missing my feet by mere centimeters. "********!!!" i thought trying to gauge the situation. then i heard that voice again, "the subway, get to the subway!" i then noticed the subway entrence not to far from were i stood. i rushed to it trying to dodge the shots. i got under there and saw the doors starting to closei ran full speed the crow holding on and leaning forward as to help me move and right before they closed we got in. i saw him climb down the stares and laughed as the train spead away. i sat down in a nearby seat and sighed, what now i thought.
