This is the second part of the last story posted.
Later that night when I was finishing putting my things away, Jericho came into the cabin. I’d never been more attracted to someone in my entire life. His black hair was soaking wet and hanging in his eyes. He had blue and red pajama pants on and no shirt. He was holding a cigarette between two of his painted fingers and I lost my breath when he walked in. he only wore a little bit of eyeliner usually, but it was smudged, and I loved it. He smelled like a mixture between well water and Axe. I thought I was going to attack him. He smiled at me when he walked in, his lips revealing a set of perfectly straight white teeth. I sat, afraid I might fall. “I don’t know if you drink. But I sure as hell do. And I snagged some Smirnoff from David’s bunk.” He said, setting three bottles on our table. I had no idea where he stored those. “How did you manage that?” I asked, honestly curious. “Don’t ask.” He said and popped one of the bottles open. I had a good idea of how he managed that as he took a long drink. “You want some?” he asked after stopped drinking. “I don’t know.” I said, more interested in him. Jericho pushed the bottle closer to me. “It’s not that bad, taste it.” He said and watched me as I took a sip. It was sour and I showed that with a facial expression. Jericho laughed and took the bottle. “How old are you Keegan?” He asked, taking another drink. “16. You?” I asked back, resting my chin on my palm. “18.” He said and it was silent for a second. “Do you want to go swimming?”Jericho asked suddenly. “It’s like, midnight.” I said and glanced at the clock. “11:54” He said with a smile. “Won’t we get in trouble?” I asked, standing up with him. “That’s the funnest part.” He said and slipped off my shirt for me. I sucked in impulsively and followed him to the door. “Whatever you do, don’t talk. And follow me.” He said and laced his fingers in mine. A flood of butterflies invaded my stomach as we ran out the door. The camp was pitch black. There were no lights anywhere. The only light was one cabin, and I recognized it as the head honcho, Marlon’s cabin. I tripped on almost everything and fell twice, but never let go of Jericho’s hand. He knew right where he was going, and I kept a death grip on his hand. Right as we were about to turn onto the path to the lake I saw the light of two flashlights. “s**t.” Jericho whispered and pulled me into a bush. It was a very pokey bush. “Oh, I know isn’t he just the cutest?” I heard from a girl’s voice. “I heard he was gay.” The other girl said. “He probably is. But his eyes are so blue it’s ridiculous.” The first one said. “Mrs. Jericho Williams.” The second one said and they both giggled. They’re voices faded and Jericho pulled me out of the bush and down the trail. I knew there was no cabin’s or people on the trail so I knew I could talk. “Wow, who were those girls?” I asked, I didn’t let go of his hand. “Isabella and Briana. Bella is insane; she’s one that apparently is marrying me.” Jericho whispered, he didn’t let go of my hand either. I laughed quietly and we walked the rest of the short trail in silence. When I saw the setting I almost lost my breath like I did back at our cabin. The moon was huge and full, sitting right on top of the lake. There was a light, warm breeze making small waves on the shore. There were a few canoes sitting on the far end of the lake and the water was a very deep dark blue. It was beautiful. “Holy s**t.” I said, staring dumbly. “It’s beautiful.” Jericho whispered, stepping closer to the water. “Far beyond that.” I said as we reached the shore. Jericho let go of my hand and slipped off his pants, he had on a pair of black boxers underneath. I smiled and copied his move. He looked at my superman boxers and smiled widely. We put our toes in the water at the same time. I was expecting it to be extremely cold, or piss warm. But it was perfect; it wasn’t too cold, or hot. “Shall we?” Jericho asked, offering his hand. The butterflies turned into hornets as I took his hand and we stepped into the water. We walked until it got too deep and then we swam until we lost the lake floor underneath us. I looked up at the moon and saw two bats swoop down and then disappear, it was amazing. “Tell me a little bit about yourself, Keegan.” Jericho said as I looked back at him. “Umm, I’m 16. I live in Ann Arbor, with my Dad and my little sister Addie.” I said, treading water as best as I could. “Well, I’m 18. I live by the Sue Locks. I live with myself. And my dog Dracula.” Jericho said smiling. I smiled back and took in the moment. “Keegan?” Jericho asked as I spaced out. “Hm?” I asked, looking back at him. “Go underwater.” He said and did so himself. I took in a breath and went under. I opened my eyes to see Jericho doing the same thing. I smiled as best I could underwater and he leaned over, giving me a little kiss on the lips. I kissed him back and we smiled, floating back to the top. I inhaled impulsively and blushed bright red. “I think that was the most romantic kiss I’ve ever participated in.” Jericho said smiling. I didn’t say anything; instead I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. He smiled against my lips. His arms folded around my waist and he kissed me softly. I was in heaven. “Hey! Who’s out there?” I heard someone yell. We both pulled away and gasped. “Under the water!” Jericho whisper screamed and took my hand, pulling me under the water with him. My lungs were about to burst, we were under for so long. I didn’t know if they found our pants, I didn’t know if they even looked. I just knew I had to breathe. I didn’t even feel Jericho struggle, I thought he had left. My body pushed me up and I gasped for air. I looked around and no one was around. The coast was clear. Jericho came up a few milliseconds later and smiled. “Told you it was fun.” He said and kissed me. I had to admit, it was fun. I didn’t even question why he didn’t struggle for air when he came up out of the water.
