Sleepless nights,
Bloodshot eyes.
Thoughts of him overwhelm her,
No matter how hard she tries.

Strugling to block out,
The memories they made.
Living in the past,
Before she was betrayed.

Checking her phone,
Knowing nothings there.
Crying herself to sleep,
He never will care.

Dreaming of a world,
Where he consumes it all.
The smile on his face,
Is enough to enthral.

Lying in bed,
Never wanting to move.
This new life he's made her,
Is never going to improve.

In only an instant,
Everything unfurled.
She became a stranger,
To a guy who was her world.

All he wants now,
Is for her to forget.
"Move on, I have."
He says it with no regret.

It's going to take everything,
To do what she's about to do.
But maybe saying goodbye's,
The painful way to say I love you.
