So light, so quick,
just one little sound, smick.
A smile, and bliss,
something you cannot dismiss.
The darkness, melting.
The chains, unbinding.
The lonliness, taken.
The ice has broken.
A laugh at a kittens hiss,
breaks the tension, of a tender first kiss.
Now they stand, ready to wed,
and have a small party in which to be fed.
Ready to live and ready to love,
ready to travel another new grove.
Ready to give their lives for their cause,
their life for the other, without any pause.
Ready to grow, and ready to wrinkle,
in there eyes, that small brilliant twinkle.
This in their heads they struggle through school.
Engaged and willing, though some call them fools.
In love and ready for the tumble,
then hold hands and say, bring on the trouble.
