Sooo yeah, I'm going through a Gorillaz phase - Gorillaz is an animated band, and voiced by various people; the characters don't actually exist (their world and themselves is sadly too crazy), but every so often the creators invite someone knew to voice them - and its insane! Two days ago I'd forgotten they existed - I discovered them maybe two years ago playing Final Drive on Addictinggames and then forgot about them... sweatdrop - and now today I know almost everything! Almost.
So Murdoc is this creepy (imo, lotsa people think he's sexy) British, Satanist 'old' man - he's 46 (6/6/66), which isn't old, but the way he acts... *shivers*. He thinks highly of himself, and is often shown in just his under wear, normally briefs, but in MTV's Crib he has a towel and a thong, or in some crazy getup which leaves his chest, legs, and arms bare. He's been to jail, and he'll do just about anything, it seems, to get ladies' attention - including messing up Stuart Tusspot, twice. He's the bassist, methinks.
My personal favourite is Stuart Tusspot. Also born in England, Stu-Pot wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, and often worked with his dad, who was a mechanic. One day while in work, a car came crashing through the wall, into Stu-Pot's face, giving him an eightball fracture in his right eye and pushing it back, and I think he lost a front tooth in the process. It also succeeded in putting him in a 'coma'; he was like a vegetable. Murdoc, being the cause of this act, had to spend I think 10 hours a week with Stu-Pot, and on one of those days whilst driving around, he ended up injuring him again by trying a fancy move in a parking lot, sending poor Stuart through the window. His left eye suffered the same as his right, and he lost his other tooth. This, however, un-vegetablized him, and gave him purple hair, instead of azure blue. Murdoc recruited him into his band as the lead vocalist, and nick named him 2-D, for the two dents in his face (his eyes), which he liked and took as his name. I believe he is 34 this year.
I don't know much about Russel, except for he went to school in Brooklyn and lost his friends in a drive-by shooting. The souls of his friends somehow took refuge inside of Russel, the most prominent being Del tha funkee homosapien, who sometimes appears when Russel is unconscious (In Gorilla Bitez "Jump the Gut", Noodle and Del make bets whether or not 2-D will be able to jump over a sleeping Russel, and when he fails to do so, Russel awakes, sending Del away and allowing Noodle to collect Del's money, even though she lost the bet). Del was separated from Russel by the Grim Reaper at some point, which sort of tipped Russel off, and he took a year to recover. He's... some age, I'm guessing no older than 2-D, and is a heavyset African-Amercian guy, who cracks me up ("Yo, where mah eel at? Where mah eel?" wink . He's the drummer.
Noodle is, to me, the most confuzzling character. I've heard that she's nineteen this year, but when Gorillaz first started some say she was ten, and some say she was thirteen. Whichever age, its a lot younger than Murdoc's, which is partly why he freaks me out (In one picture where they're all playing pool, Noodle is seen sitting on the edge of the table with Murdoc creepily holding her, like showing her how to play - now if 2-D had been the one, I wouldn't mind; he's awesome, and rumour has it that they are the Gorillaz couple, even though there's a bit of an age difference, as every show/book/whatever always has a couple). Noodle is Japanese, and she apparently FedEx'd herself to Britain (XD). She at one point returns to Japan to learn about her forgotten past and she learns that she was one of the twenty-three children in a project to sort of make them better, which is why she's awesome at guitar, multiple martial arts, and now that she knows, languages. In El Manana, she apparently dies, when helicopters shoot at her and the windmill-island thing (which is ftw btw), causing it to crash, and her bandmates to grieve. Though later on its revealed that she parachuted.

Its almost Christmas : D I know I'm getting the Sims 3, a LEGO Hotel, and iTunes gift cards, but I still can't wait. Plus we get to eat Egg's Benny, and drink eggnog and Terry's Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate (my invention ^^) and eat cookies... And the tree is really pretty. This is our last Christmas in this town!! Next year our Christmas tree will be sitting in the large, peaked roof living room in the Shuswap Lake area, instead of in the multipurpose room, which is much better than in the family room where its been every other year but this 'un.
We got our flu shots today D : And my swine flu one hurts. But didn't I already have swine flu? o.o We also watched Inglorious Basterds today, and it was actually kind of funny. Except it was kind of gross how people kept dying, and the Germans kept getting scalped, and that double agent actress lady got a bullet in the leg. But it was a good movie. *German* "Get your a** in that car!" *a** = ache X D
