Because I woke up this morning to my ipod with inspiration, and it was weird. Set on shuffle, and only a few minutes put into each one, not counting spell check. There are eleven, yes, but the last one is two sentances, and thus, does not count. I tried not to do too much nextgen, but I couldn't help it. It's all Hetalia, too. I screwed up the characters that aren't mine, and I apologize. Try to enjoy it anyway! If you comment, tell me which one you like best. Also, if there's some that make no snese, tell me, and I'll explain if I can. c:

1; Perfectly Good Guitar - John Hiatt
He bent over and held the broken pieces of his old acoustic. Tears rolled down his cheeks, uncontrolled, though he wasn't weeping by any means. They just came. He whispered something inaudible, and then stood and wiped the snot from his nose and the tears from his eyes.
He'd get a new one, yes, but this was the one he'd first used to woo her. He'd never forgive him, he who smashed his guitar. And he had the ability to hold grudges for a long, long time.
2; Inaudible Melodies - Jack Johnson
There was something far too far away and unrealistic about the way her hips moved side to side, oh so slowly, to the music. It captivated his attention, making him look up from whatever he was doing to watch, grinning to himself when he realized she herself wasn't aware of doing it. Her back was to him, and it took a lot not to rush over and grab her up. But when he remembered her name meant 'fairytale,' he just had to touch her and make sure she was real.
3; Another Rainy Day in New York City - Chicago
Alfred looked out the window gloomily. It was absolutely NO fun when it rained because there was nothing to do! He wanted to play frisbee or watch the people in the park. But he had to stay in, just because Arthur said so. And how totally boring, listening to him. He groaned loudly, his objective to annoy.
After a few more guttural whines, Arthur, frustrated, shooed him out, calling behind him that he definitely would not be the one taking care of him when he got sick. And that earned him a smirk that knowingly stated otherwise.
4; Warakurna - Midnight Oil
He used to believe so wholeheartedly in God! His people had been willing to hurt each other, they were so sure they had the right beliefs. But now he wasn't so sure. There were so many thoughts crammed into him, he just didn't know what to think anymore. But at least his people didn't fight with each other about it, or with other nations for that matter. It was much worse in other places, he knew. It was his pride and joy to be such a diverse country, but at times like these, he just wanted to know who he was for sure.
5; Fumbling Toward Ecstasy - Sarah Mclachlan
With that b*****d, he knew he would never be hurt. He knew he would never do something he didn't want, not implying that what he did do he did want, because that would be ridiculous. But he could trust him with all he had, like he'd never been able to trust anyone. He knew he would defend him, too, against the things he feared, not that he was especially afraid of anything, nor did he need protection. But it's the thought that counts, when you're talking about a fool.
6; High Roller - Cheap Trick
Their life together would be the high life; he would make sure of that. And he had it all planned out. They'd collect bugs, even the gross ones that she'd pick up for him, try all the flavors of ice cream, gelato, and shaved ice in a summer, and dance all night long to blaring music. He'd teach her how to windsurf, and she could teach him how to wakeboard in frigid water. Maybe he'd even look at her Papa! Yes, their life together would be full of excitement and totally extreme and they'd both be happy forever, if he had anything to say about it.
7; What Can You Tell Me - Chuck Prophet
Since the first moment he saw her, everything he knew was gone, changed. He knew he'd have to make a little room inside of him in order to make room for her. Okay, a lot of room. With every rejection, that room grew for the strangest reasons. It didn't even push out his siblings, not by any means; it was really just inexplicable. When he was accepted into her life, he took utmost comfort in knowing he had a room in her heart, too.
8; Somebody - David Byrne
He looked at the clock, and he did the math, calculating what time it was where she was. He came to the conclusion that she was having lunch, or just finishing it, at least. He confirmed with Nico that lunchtime was a proper time to call her, and he prayed her Papa wouldn't pick up when he dialed her number. It rang a few times, and finally someone picked up. Her sleepy voice came through the receiver.
"Enzo, like, it's one in the morning. It may be-" she paused looking at her clock and calculating the difference herself. "-Lunchtime there, but it's not here. Papa gets mad if you call this late, so godnatt, min kära."
Enzo did not hear all of what she had to say because he'd hung up. This is merely because he did not want to keep her awake. It is definitely not because her papa is a scary man.
9; Love Gun - Kiss
Finland was cooking dinner. It was like any other night, nothing special at all.
Tino began to hum as he slowly slid the loaf in the oven, and soon he was swaying to his own little rhythm. He didn't notice Sweden come to the doorway and stop just inside the frame. He didn't notice the tiny smile spreading across the Swede's face. Tino just kept on dancing.
And so, he didn't notice until it was too late the taller man coming up from behind and pulling the little Finn into a gentle embrace, swaying along with the silent beat.
10; Life on Mars - David Bowie
To all the adults, it was getting a little ridiculous. 'The Lion king' was a wonderful movie, this was agreed upon. But their young children, not yet old enough to attend the conferences with the adults, spent their time in that little room where they crammed in together and watched the only movie that the room continually kept. Over and over and over. Every meeting. And not one of them ever complained.
11; Stop This Game - Cheap Trick
The blaring music was starting to get on everyone's nerves. It was just a matter of who, who was going to go get up and walk a few paces to yell at Enzo first.
