I normally sat in class not paying attention to any of my surroundings. Today was different though, I was just drawing like I always do instead of taking notes. Then something hit me, you see I have this gift, well my mom calls it a give I call it a pain in my a**. Anyways, my gift is that I can sort of read peoples minds. It’s not as cool as you think, everyday different voices, that I can’t block, come into my mind. Even though I can here Tori’s thoughts and what she thinks about me. It isn’t too much fun. I looked over at Tori and sighed, and then I looked back at the teacher. Tori was my best friend, but we went two different ways. She when to the cheerleaders, and they started to make her act weird. Especially towards me, she won’t tell me anything anymore, she gave me dirty looks. So we just with out words that we weren’t friends anymore.
I was starting to get a headache from all the people thinking at once. Tori’s was the loudest, with her nasally chuckle and just her normal voice. It annoyed me so bad; I just wanted to duct tape her mouth shut. Then I thought it wouldn’t help no one else could her but I would be able to. I needed to get out of the class room, even just for a minute. I needed my headache medication. I lifted my head up so I could see the teacher. I put my purse on my arm and raised my hand. The teacher looked at my and my pained expression and nodded. I got up and walked out the door. The teachers I had usually knew what I had to do if I had that look on my face. It didn’t surprise them much, on of my teachers just let me go how I pleased. This was really convenient do to the fact that some days I couldn’t even raise my hand, because I was in so much pain.
