Used by little
The backspace is closer and bigger
Who cares about teeny tiny delete?
Well today I glanced down at that key
The key that’s right below insert
Now why would they put those two together?
I understand why delete and end are side-by-side
But deleting something and inserting it
Are two totally opposite things
I thought about you when I saw the word delete
You were already inserted into my life
But now that’s going to end
Because in one swift motion
I can delete all of you
And not just little bits and pieces
Because that’s all the backspace can do on its own
And once the deleting is final
I’m not going to let you enter back in
If you come my way
I will shift to the side
Leaving space between us
I’ll only give you little time to escape
Now I am in control
