You're silent
But we see the stiffness of your body
as you cling to bed sheets
biting your lips until they're gone
the taste of blood a reminder
To those screaming horrors
covered in their own filth
clawing at your mind
trying to be released from this spell
Nightmares may fade from your dreams
but they seep into reality and life
nothing is left unfinished
the unraveling ends will haunt you
insisting to tie you down
until you acknowledge;
there is no hope left for you.
Your pillow is stained in tears
the sheets are covered in blood
and it will not be washed away
It is permanent:
forever here to stay
a guilty conscience in your mind
a stain on your purity and worth
a ghost that refuses to leave.
It's all about you,
It's all your fault
and we can not offer pity
You are socially out casted
pushed away from our thoughts
we've been ordered to forget you,
We have to forget nights of screams
when we rushed to comfort you.
We can not acknowledge our love
that we gave and shared with you.
We have to wash it all away
the bloody sheets
the tear covered pillows
the mark you left in our hearts,
it must be washed away.
You have to forget you
and you must try to forget us too.
But most of all,
you must wipe away all the fears
and ignore the nightmares that control you.

Here We Are, But We're Still Lost
I have spilled my heart on this journal and now I am making it public. I doubt what you will find will interest you much. It's only my battered soul.
Lol, sorry, that was really angst, wasn't it?
