History:
Kyoujin is known by many names, none of them the one she was born with. She is Agent #0247, The Lunatic, and Kyoujin, among other names picked up in various languages. Almost everything about her is a mystery; her given name, her birthplace and childhood, how and why she became an assassin, and even how she lost her eye is largely unknown.

In truth, Kyoujin's life was completely uneventful and dull up until she ran away from home at a young age, quickly learning to survive on the streets by herself and eventually getting picked up by a shadowy agency after being observed for some time. Her survival skills and innate fighting abilities were promising, and her tender age made her ripe for the picking. She could be easily molded and shaped to their liking, and that's exactly what they did.

Unfortunately for them, Kyoujin had a far stronger sense of self and willpower than they thought, and though she hid it from them and pretended to be their pawn, she knew exactly who she was and maintained a sense of individuality despite the brainwashing.

The thing was, Kyoujin liked her job. She liked the thrill, the exhilaration, the challenge, and the intrigue of the whole thing. Her disconnect with society and a questionable moral standard were something she already had, not something embedded in her by the agency. It was no surprise, then, that when she was on a mission in Japan and was approached by Hachiman, Kyoujin was nothing short of prideful of her new status as a Scion.

For a short time after receiving her Visitation, Kyoujin remained with the agency in order to hone her skills and test out her newfound powers. Once she was comfortable with her new life, however, she defected, and disappeared somewhere between Eastern Europe and America.

She was last sighted in the US, wearing an orange jumpsuit clearly having belonged to a state penitentiary, leading one to believe that she was caught doing something illegal and then quickly escaped with little effort. She obviously seems to like the outfit, though.

People constantly mistake Kyoujin for a Scion of many gods other than her actual father, all based on her features and nationality. Most popular is the idea that she is a daughter of Odin due to her missing eye, and she's getting quite bored of it.


Personality: Kyoujin is exactly as cold, harsh, and deadly as a Siberian winter; a snarky, cruel, blunt woman with a bite just as bad as her bark. Her thick Russian accent makes her sound even scarier, and one would be wise to fear her. Kyoujin has little patience for most people and will not hesitate to express her displeasure. She does not talk much, and divulges even less. A favorite pastime of most of the Bands she joins is to discuss and try to guess what her real name is. So far, all attempts have proven unsuccessful.

Of Kyoujin's many strange habits and idiosyncrasies, three stand out the most; her love of birds (and tendency to call them all "pretty bird" in her thick Russian accent), her impossible chain-smoking, and enjoyment in telling varying stories about how she lost her eye (not a single one of them being true).

She does not kill indiscriminately, however, and despite her sadistic and violent nature will not kill unless necessary, or provoked enough. It is possible that she has a warm center, but it is unlikely that it can be reached if it does in fact exist at all. (PROTIP: it doesn't.)


Wardrobe: Her current favorite piece of clothing is an orange jumpsuit gleaned from being caught by and escaping from the law. She generally prefers darker, neutral colors; blacks, grays, browns, greens, etc., though the bright orange jumpsuit has its place. She wears masculine styles (though her tops are generally form-fitting), heavy boots, and would rather die than have to wear anything girly or formal. She would sooner gouge out her good eye than wear a skirt.


Must-Haves:
- Missing eye/eyepatch: A source of pride, intimidation, and apparently, confusion.
- Scar across nose: Probably related to the missing eye, but maybe not.
- Cigarette: Kyoujin is a chain-smoker of epic proportions. It is rumored that her cigarette case is actually a Birthright that never runs out of her favorite brand.
- Tattoos: Unless hidden under her clothes, of course. Covering them with clothes is not at all out of the question.
