Asking Bast For Assistance
Sweet and loving Mother,
You've always been there for me
You've stood beside me in times of need
When I was unsure and afraid
I call upon you once again
To stand next to me, holding me up
I need someone to lean upon
To hold my hand as I try to move on
If things are actually meant to be,
Please guide my mind and heart
But if it's not please lift me high
So that I can move on beyond the pain
Right now, I feel so unsteady
And I'm not sure what to do
I know that it's self-inflicted
Yet I know it was the best thing to do
Please hold my heart tenderly
And teach me once again
I need to know what happens next
To come to terms with this pain.
