Hanna Rossi emerged from her bedroom, looking as though she'd been torn down by Fiends and rebuilt to convey the pinnacle of depression. Her complexion looked paler compared to usual and tears had long since dried on her cheeks, her hairstyle being messy and covered in knots. Rosy's undergarments were covered by the large long-sleeved button down that belonged to her now ex-boyfriend.

Sniffling, the woman dropped herself unceremoniously on the chair in the dining room, nearly breaking into another bout of hysteria as she covered her mouth with her hands.

"I can't believe I still feel this way, it's been two weeks," the Military Officer looked out of the window and towards the rising sun in the distance, recalling what happened to put her in this depressing mood.

Éric le Rou, after everything that they had been through, shattered her heart and stomped on the remains.

In his eyes, that hadn't been the case as he'd believed that he was "saving" her from the pain of losing him by ending their relationship in the early stages. He knew the risks and potential consequences of his dreams, his occupation, and his hobby.

Poor Éric didn't know that the raven would've followed him to the ends of the planet and back if that meant being by his side, would've betrayed her country for him as long as she'd had his love.

Hanna leaned back in the chair and brushed aside the stray tears that had escaped her defenses, taking in several breaths to calm herself. "I shouldn't keep deluding myself into thinking that we can work things out, he's never took any of my calls."

Frowning, the raven figured that she'd try to clear her thoughts by listening to music and left the dining room to click on the radio. It seemed to work as her expression changed from depressed and filled with sorrow to something happy, the smallest of smiles crossing her features.

However, the moment of happiness found itself cut short as the next song came through the speakers being the first song that she and Éric had listened to when they... ahem, played.

Hanna blushed at the memory and the tears made the subtle threat to reappear if she'd continued listening, prompting the raven to change the station to something else.

She nodded in approval as the next piece reminded her of her childhood home; Bevelle, and fell back on the couch. Music helped, that much the raven had realized as her mood had notably bubbled into something positive.

Rossi was broken from her thoughts as the sound of somebody knocking on the door was heard over the noise level of the radio, making her feel surprised that somebody wanted to visit her.

Confused, the woman approached the door and looked through the eyehole and took in the familiar appearance of Ilex, her coworker in the Military.

Smiling, she'd opened the door and politely greeted him; "Hey."

Ilex rubbed the back of his neck and blushed lightly at her state of dress, diverting his eyes and finding the floor that much more interesting instead of looking at his superior.

"I heard about Éric and came to see if you wanted to go anywhere because I felt concerned."

Hanna looked surprised at the offer and quickly recovered, reclaiming her smile as she'd turned to reenter the apartment. "Sure."

Ilex watched as her hips moved from side to side, something that stood in stark contrast to her state of depression from earlier... was his friend doing that intentionally?

Éric might've broken her heart, but that didn't mean that somebody else couldn't come along and fix it.
