Woke up this morning fully expecting 3 inches of snow on the ground for some reason. It was uuuuber disappointing to pull back the shades and discover nothing but mostly dead grass.
It's just really freaking cold.
Jer-bear and Lauren did a music thing at a coffee shop in town last night.
quite relaxing.
And afterwards went to some sort of quiz bowl competition and then walked in the rain with Bethany and Emily.
so a good saturday, despite not getting anything done. ^^
just been a very interesting past week.
I've been homesick for a few days now (due to music things and occurrences that remind me of home...), hoping it wears off soon. The only day I was like this last year was my birthday...
talked to Emily about the thing Friday night after the recital. I was sitting in her room sulking with B over how un-successful our attempts were at trying to talk to our respective crushes, and it just got to the point where she demanded to know, and I didn't want to hide it anymore.
and she surprisingly took it well. (!!) after I explained the situation, she even said she wished she could help some way...
idk. we'll see. Friday was probably the climax of this little sulking phase, now it's just gonna get done. Idk why the difference now afterwards; just feels like that.
it's beyond my caring at this point. kind of. as in, somehow the pressure of last week just kind of..... dissolved. it's like in seeing him more often, i'm that much more confident that I can talk to him type of thing..??? *shrug*
I don't have problems talking to people normally. which is why this has been so damn frustrating.
busy, busy week this week.
two big papers due, along with a big take-home test and a few little assignments. And playing in a recital Friday.

so yeah. Just feeling burned out about the whole church thing, I guess. Because I'm still not going this morning. mainly so I can work on these piles of homework. (one essay involves reading a crapton of stuff that we're supposed to have read already, but i haven't even thought about until Friday haha...)
so. up to today, i've only gone to a brick-and-mortar church twice this semester.
can't count how many times i've brought in services at the station, though.
so I'm still getting churched, just not in a pew.

maybe next week? probably. Hopefully if I plan on it now, then it'll actually get done.
then wednesday next week through the following monday it's thanksgiving break,and I'll be spending it on campus working at the station. Been invited to 3 thanksgivings so far, dunno if I'll go to any of them.
and the one that I'd really really really like to go to isn't happening here. *sigh*
should probably plan ahead a little then.
get some goodies lined up and buy some books.
such an introvert. rolleyes
but on the plus, this is the last break I'm working this year. yay!
next up after Thanksgiving is Christmas and i'll be at home, then JAMAICA!, then spring break concert band/orchestra tour.
then summer. Still dunno what's gonna happen. hopefully this is just a rough patch at work, and it'll get better from here.
because while I really like the job itself, i'm slowly getting irritated with my boss. *sigh* hopefully it's just the pressure from everything new.
and I'm in a slump, anyways, where I don't want to do anything.
burnout again? maybe. BECAUSE WE'RE DOING EVERYTHING BACKWARDS. seriously. He wants a system, so I get that set up according to what we had then. Then he finally gets what I've been wanting for the system since day 1, and I have to re-do everything. stare it's like 2 months of work down the drain.
gah.
in any case, this is the busiest week of the semester probably. or second or third busiest.
ridiculously easy all semester; I've been spoiled. razz
have I told you about my schedule for next semester? finally got that straightened out this week, too.
they changed the time of the final class I needed for this next semester, so I couldn't take it due to conflicts with other courses. And the only three other courses that could possibly work also didn't. So I'm taking a class that didn't exist until the morning of registration day, and only has two people in it. it'll replace one of the courses I was planning to take next year's spring semester, and give me an extra space to take the one I was planning on taking this next semester.
now we can only hope that that works now.
so my schedule: MWF only one class 9-9:50, and TR have five classes from 8-3:05. gonk so I'm essentially still getting done at the same time every day, starting times are just different.
hoping to rope B into going to gym with me MWF next semester. :]
welp. almost 11 now. best start working on a paper or something...
