Date of Birth: Ruairidh was born sometime way back in the Iron Age so he has long since forgotten his age, but he appears to be in his mid-twenties.
Bio: Ruairidh Ó Faolagan was born in what is now Kilkenny Ireland during the Iron Age as Ruairidh of the Faolagan pack. There are many different origin stories about how his pack and others like it came to be, but the consensus is that he and the rest of the high ranking, older members of the pack are "really damn old" in Ireland werewolves were viewed differently than they were in the rest of the world. They were seen as protectors of children and it was thought they would help lost travelers. It was also believed that kings and rulers would recruit them in times of war. Part of the reason the Irish believed this is because of Ruairidh's pack and others like it. Though there were many different stories about the origin of their race, one thing most of them could agree on was that their abilities were bestowed upon them by the gods, particularly Brighid and. Morrighan that they may do what they could to help out humans and whoever else may need them while trying to keep peace.
When Ruairidh was very young, his senses, including his sight and hearing began to grow better better. Since he was one of the first of his race, it was time to establish tradition and it was then that he would learn to use weapons and master his transformations and go on hunts and start learning to do whatever may be needed by the pack.
Although there is a large range of ages in the pack from Morgan's generation to the newest pups, the pack usually doesn't get to big because pack members do unfortunately die of sickness or of injury at times, at it is not uncommon for members to leave and start their own pack in different parts of the world.
As the decades go by, the pack has to change their identities every so often, and while in the early day they fought battles for kings and similar things and professions, now they must have real jobs to fit in. Morgan is a family physicians, but others may be lawyers or teachers or they may even stay at home with the pups.
Morgan has never had a mate within the pack, and many of the rest of the members think it's strange. They also speculate that it's because of his friendship with the vampire Ristar but Morgan refuses to comment. Though their relationship is purely platonic... so far, one can hardly blame the pack for thinking otherwise with the shameless flirting that goes on between the two. Although he never had a real mate, he did have an affair with a few female members of the pack at different occasions a number of years ago, but apparently that didn't count.
Attitude: Morgan is loyal and hard working because his pack is close knit and does a lot for each other and the people around them. He is kind-hearted and most the time gentle and calm but he can also be territorial and protective, especially being the second in command of the pack. He likes to joke, and sometimes doesn't exactly know when to stop but if he knows he's upsetting someone with his antics he'll try to stop. Although he has enough money sitting in the bank to last a normal person several life-times, he still works because he would waste away with boredom if he didn't, and he believes people should work for what they have. He has a number of unhealthy habits such as drinking to excess and smoking on occasion, or bottling up emotions but for the most part he is fairly healthy. He gets a lot of exercise and he hunts to help get rid of some of his aggression and to get some fresh food on occasion. Also because the pack likes to hunt together
