Morgan Godfrey Whelan

Morgan is a kind-hearted and fun-spirited family man and the alpha male of the Whelan pack. Unlike his wife, he his an extrovert and is not shy to talk to strangers and make new friends. His pack and his family are always the first thing on his mind, and though he often jokes and messes around he knows when he needs to be the serious alpha male or father.

█ Morgan and his brothers are descendants of the ancient Ó Faolagan pack of Faoladh (Irish Werewolves) in Kilkenny Ireland. For thousands of years, his pack had been a society of warriors and hunters, dedicated to helping people whether it was by guiding lost children and travelers back to their homes, or by fighting for just causes. It was common for members of the pack to venture off and start their own pack, so when Morgan and his brothers were of an age where they had learned to control their abilities and could venture out alone, they went in search of where they would be of use. Morgan came to an inn in the middle of nowhere full of werewolves and other creatures at the age of 19 with his brothers where they found jobs as bouncers. Soon after they arrived, Morgan met and married his ex-wife, Ashlee. They had one child together before she left and they divorced.

Not long after Ashlee arrived at the inn, so did his youngest brother, Takatho. He was a refugee from a werewolf pack that lived in the forest outside the inn, and the Whelan brothers adopted him as their own.

Some months after Ashlee was gone and Morgan had time to feel bad for himself, Annette came to the inn. The two of them dated for a time before marrying and having a child of their own, then moving out of the inn to a small house on the outskirts of town, and then eventually to Brightmond.

When Morgan moved to Brightmond, he got a job as a detective solving cases that involves creatures in the supernatural community that humans couldn't handle. He generally works from home unless he's travelling, and he collaborates with a handful of other creature detectives that work with him.

Alexander Thomas Whelan

ALEX....FOURTY-FOUR....FAOLADH....BROTHER, RISTAR'S MATE, FATHER, UNCLE

Alex is much like his twin brother. He likes to play around and wrestle with the pups, and the way the twins say they love each other is by making inappropriate jokes, though they're more careful around the little ones. However Unlike Morgan, Alex has a harder being serious. It really can be done if he tries.

█ Alex came to an inn in the middle of nowhere inhabited with vampires and werewolves and ghost and ghouls along with his brothers Morgan and Kelley, where he met his first wife Mel, who left not long after their son Damien was born. After a string of unremarkable and forgettable women, Ristar finally came along and tied Alex down. They were together for a few yew years before they moved to Brightmond when Morgan did and had their children. Deciding that now he was a daddy, he should probably have a respectable job he trained to be a firefighter. He has a boy and a girl twin by the ages of 15 and a little girl by the age of 12

Tak is the brains of his brothers, and though he knows how to fight be prefers to avoid conflict when possible. Though let it not be said he is a coward, he will fight for his pack should the need arise he just doesn't feel the need to show his worth by beating the other guy up. Tak prefers to rely on his intellect and magic

█ Tak is a refugee from the werewolf pack that lived outside the inn Morgan and Annette met at. The pack was run by a tyrannical alpha male who expected all the males to hunt for him and the females to mate with him. If any humans or other creatures were caught in his territory, they were killed on sight. Eventually, Tak became tired of living that way and found the inn where he met the men who would later adopt him as their brothers. He told them of where he came from, and they went to confront the alpha of the pack, which was where Morgan got the sporting scar over his eye.

Takatho and the Whelans became a big happy family, and Tak even took their last name. He married and divorced twice and moved to Brightmont with them where he lived with Morgan for the first few years until he opened occult store and made enough money to live in an apartment with a few roommates. His bookstore seems to be doing well, so hopefully soon he'll be able to live on his own. He is also a doctor, and runs an apothecary in his occult store where he treats usually magical people with elemental magic and his medical talents

Much like her race is famous for, Bronwyn is wise and she doesn't mind sharing her wisdom with others. Though she can be greedy, and often prefers to have her space, it can be possible to make friends with her in time and with patience. Possibly with bribes.

█ Bronwyn is old. Old enough to remember events like the crusades, and the plague, and many before. She has gone by many other names, and though many think dragons are extinct or even just a myth, she knows better. She knows that they are simply becoming endangered.

Brownyn was born in Wales, where at the time there was much more competition from other dragons and many more humans that were suspicious of them to be wary of. Only the strongest and most cunning dragons survived, until their numbers dwindled to the point that it seemed like there were no more, if there had ever been. Of course they were all hiding out in their little dens. Occasionally a warrior would come for one of them to try to prove their worth in battle, or a scholar would come in search of their wisdom, but all in all they were mostly hidden and left alone.

After years of doing whatever she did, Brownwyn heard of a town in America where supernatural creatures seemed to be gathering. There were also many humans, and a pack of werewolves that protected those humans, so if any creatures that resided there were just careful not to eat people around them, then it would be a good place to live. So, she moved there and opened up a coffee shop. She knew she wouldn't make as much money as those chains, but being her own boss would be fine.

Thoughts about the marriage: || If it will stop all the problems they kingdom has been having then he feels just fine about it. Though he feels bad for the young lady that has to marry his prince.
I just can't help but be: || Godfrey is loyal to the Astoria family, but first to Prince Johann since he is specifically in his charge. He enjoys hunting and horse riding and other outdoor activities, and when he was first introduced to the prince he tried to interest him in them as well and get him out of the castle for a bit for some sunshine and exercise. But it never worked. The prince always had better things to do.
Godfrey can be a little grumpy at times when dealing with the prince, but he supposes he does care about him and not just the family. One can't spend that much time with someone and not start to care about them right?
Though he can be grumpy, Godfrey enjoys the company of women and may talk to the maids or even the female knights if he's brave enough to get that close to a woman with a sharp weapon. If it wouldn't get him in huge trouble, he might even talk to the princesses. But he knows better.
He can't stand rude and useless people. He tries to be polite, and he does his job, which he sometimes sees as not having a problem flicking Johann over the head and telling him that his behavior is unacceptable in polite company, or maybe gently reminding him that normal people don't want to listen to him talk about dead things. The prince creeps him out a little, but he isn't afraid of him like others might be.
Godfrey tends to always have at least a kife on his person, and he feels very naked without any weapons at all on him or like something's going to jump out at him and he won't be able to do anything about it. Though he does know how to grapple, it's just a quirk in his brain.

Everything there is to know about me: || Godfrey has always been loyal to the royal family, having come from a long line of knights that worked for them. His father, and his father before him were all knights at the castle and much of his childhood was spent preparing to do the same. He spent many hours learning to read and write, ride a horse and use a sword, and many other things. His parents died of sickness when he was a in his late teens, not long after he came to work at the castle and they left behind their estate but he still spends most of his time at the castle.

Though he may not have been so thrilled to have been assigned to Johann, it's his job and he does his best to watch over him. Really though, the boy is crazy. At one point, he had to dispell a rumor among the maids and cooks and such that the prince was a necrophiliac... He doesn't like him very much because he sort of creeps him out a little, but he is very protective of him because it's his job and he doesn't know what would happen to him or someone else otherwise.
