There are multiple versions of this story, I'll brief them all...

-They open similarly. Rosie, with her team (which differs), have just finished a mission in a random dimension that isn't important. They are members of this galaxy's trained Alien Hunters, who are sent into different dimensions and timelines to patch paranormal anomalies. As they attempt to transport back to their base station, Rosie does not notice that her transport device (kind of in the form of a smart watch / stream) is damaged. The relocation sends her to a random dimension, and she struggles to get back to home base.

-In version 1 of the story (the original), it lands Rosie in a parallel Earth dimension. Her team only consisted of Jack and Bella. Here she meets and falls in love with Chris (again), while battling some alien force that threatens to ruin the humans' timeline. When she is victorious, she realizes that her stream is functional once again, and must leave Chris to return to her duties as an alien hunter.

-In version 2 of the story (the SHAD ver), Rosie lands in a universe consisting of eight major civilizations across 12 (ish) planets. This dimension is not on her map. She navigates them all, collecting pieces of information about the uncharted lands, meeting the people (lol), and repairing her stream to return. She helps overturn an evil dictator on one of the planets in the process.

-In version 3, Rosie's team consisted of the entire wind section (so all including Olivia). She is transported to a small planet with a lot of broken/crashed planes/rockets, and upon searching these crashed objects, realizes that the people that have landed on this planet have died long ago, with no way to escape/leave. This dimension is also uncharted, meaning there is no way for her to communicate with her team and get them to locate her. All the equipment left behind is useless. The only form of life is this small, winged blue cat-like creature she runs into. In the distance, there there is often an awful sounding wail echoing around the place. After befriending an alien cat, Rosie decides to investigate the loud noises and encounters a monster/alien. She fights and defeats this creature, and then a whole civilization of alien cats appear and use their powers to create a portal that sends her back to the base. She realizes that the monster-thingy was eating all the cats and sapping their powers, leaving them unable to help any crashed people.
She returns to base only seconds after her friends have arrived, chatting about the mission. She tried to describe what she just went through, but has no proof. Her comm is damaged, but there is no portal, and, as mentioned earlier, there is no proof that this dimension exists. Slightly startled and confused, Rosie decides to move on with her life.
