The motorcycle engine's low rumble echoes around the empty alleyway, and the headlights light up a brick wall covered with multicoloured graffiti. Hazel relaxes, tossing on her worn leather jacket and strapping in her biker helmet in swift movements. Glancing at her reflection in the sideview mirrors one last time, she slams on the gas pedal.
She speeds through the night, enjoying the gentle breeze and she jumps between lanes. The rain starts to fall gently - enough to be noticeable, but not enough to be a nuisance. She really had no destination in mind, but rather needed this ride to breathe.
