Capt. Deep stood over Nina, who was clinging to the side of a plank. “So, are you ready to give up?”
“Never.” Nina snarled, and grabbed her sword which was just past her fingers, and tripped Capt. Deep who fell over the other side of the plank. Nina used Capt. Deep’s legs to push her feet off, and climb up.
Nina stood over Capt. Deep, who had both swords in her hands. “Well, it looks like I win.” Nina said.
“No, because I’m still talking to you aren’t I?” Capt. Deep smirked.
Nina knelt down before her and smiled. “Don’t you worry, this will all be over soon, and being a pirate will no longer invade your mind. All the stress and pressures of sailing can really get to a person. I’m doing you a favor.”
Capt. Deep glared up at her. “That’s so selfless of you.” She pushed herself up, and kicked Nina in her breastbone, sending her over the edge of the plank. “But I’ll have to pass. Let me do you a favor instead!”
And Nina fell into the water and looked up at the captain. “What can I say; I just wanted to help out an old friend.” Capt. Deep smirked, “But since I won’t have the satisfaction of watching you sail away to ne’er return I’ll help you up.”
Capt. Deep helped up Nina, who looked grateful. “Capt. Deep, maybe we could still be friends after all.”
Capt. Deep rolled her eyes. “Nina, you really just don’t get it do you? Nina, just because I don’t want to see you drown doesn’t mean I want to join alliances with you. Get over to yer ship and sail away like our agreement.”
Nina stood and turned to go back to her ship, and Capt. Deep turned to go to her ship. “We’ve known each other a long while Captain.” Nina stopped her. “I’d think you would know by now; I’m not the kind of person you turn your back to, because you never know when I’ll betray you.”
Nina suddenly leapt to attack Capt. Deep with her dagger. Capt. Deep ducked at the right time, and Nina thudded before her. Capt. Deep drew her swords and threatened Nina with a scowl. Nina drew her sword as well, and the two began to fight once more. But in the end, Nina knocked Capt. Deep onto the deck of The Gull. Capt. Deep gasped for breath, and Nina stood over her. “Aren’t you going to fight more Rina?”
Capt. Deep looked up at her rival, and gave her a scowl and passed out. “Well, it looks like I win then.” Nina smirked, and looked at both crews, who were whispering amongst themselves. “Well, as soon as this girl wakes up, she can walk the plank like our agreement.”
Nina’s first mate approached her. “Captain, you disgraced the pirate name, and officially lost the fight but attacked none the less.”
“Well, I am a pirate you know.” Nina said.
Will rushed up to Rina and spoke up. “That doesn’t matter. Pirates have a set of rules, and that was a violation.”
Nina glared about the two crews who glared back. “It looks like it’s time for another captain, Hawethorn.” The first mate said.
Nina glared about the deck. “Well, if the crew decides that’s what’s best then I only want to be loyal to the code.”
