As I stand here all alone
For your hearts pain is all I've known
I stand here watching as you cry
When the moonlight hits your eye
Not knowing or caring why
But for every tear you shed
Feels like blood my heart has bleed
Those warm tears you cry
Are the very reason why
The chains that bound my heart
Have melted and come apart
As I stand here in the dark
A tear across your face the only mark
For my heart breaks when you weep
I wish that you would just fall asleep
And when you wake all your pain
Would be purified by the rain
The moon shines on your beautiful face
As the tears begin to race
I would do anything to help ease your pain
But anything I do would be in vain
I would do anything just to feel your gentle caress
But even if I stepped out of this darkness
You still would never notice me
Your tears have made it to where you cannot see
You keep searching for the one
Never realizing why you run
From the person that tries to show
Their feelings that you know
Would only help to ease your fears
And wipe away your tears
You are my Angel in the moonlight
And as you begin to fight
The tears that are in your heart
That are slowly tearing you apart
I will try to be the brace
For the tears that run down your face
By becoming a gently faim
I will try to aim
To melt the ice that surrounds your heart
And like fragile class that's come apart
I will try to mend the pieces of your broken heart

I will be your Guardian in the darkness

Like a shadow that's been blown

These feelings I have when I'm around you
