Taran and ANTIE-D were getting closer and closer to thre three life-forces that were near each other. Neko had not yet allowed Taran to take her off his head. But with one arm dislocated at the shoulder and broken at the wrist, his right arm was all he had for the moment. And he was left handed, usually. So he walked with Neko clinging to his head painfully. He kept expecting to see or feel a small line of blood run down his face. But, she'd probably have to let go first.

Suddenly, Taran could hear something. He couldn't tell what it was, but it was loud, or was meant to be. ANTIE-D started to turn left down a passage, and Taran stopped her.

"We need to go this way." Taran said, pointing down the passage to the right. "Don't you hear them?" Taran asked.

"Hear who?" asked ANTIE-D blandly.

Taran went to rub his temple- with his left arm- and winced with the pain.
"There's someone crying for help. If you can't hear it, then it must be the gwees. They are telepathic, remember?" Taran shook his head. She wouldn't remember. She seemed to have zero memory at the moment.

"Just, follow me!" Taran told her sharply. He didn't have time for games. Not if the gwees were in trouble.

Taran hurried down the corridor, and took a left at the corner. The gwees were getting louder. Very much so, now.

"All right, all right! I hear you! Stop yelling!" Taran shouted as he ran closer.

The gwees must have heard him, because they were coming his way while he was running towards them. But they didn't stop shouting.

'Help! Have to help!' the gwees yelled.

"Help with what?" Taran asked, as he got near enough to tell that the two of them were just fine.

"With the other life force." ANTIE-D replied. She looked over at Taran, who looked back at her surprised. "It is very faint now. Almost gone." she replied.

Taran motioned for the gwees to go, but they had read his mind and quickly led him back around the corner and through the door.

Taran was hoping it was the "friendly" person who had let them on the ship. Or another gwee, or...
he stopped almost dead two paces into the room.

"Not Rose..." he mumbled, and stumbled forward. "Rose? Rose?" he asked, and he kneeled down next to her. She was face-down on the ground, so he flipped her over, ever so carefully.

'It was the gravity.' said Jaa.
'She lost her breath.' added Tuli.
'And hasn't found it again.' finished Jaa.

Taran searched her neck for a pulse, and found none. "Bloody hell! Why don't I know how to heal! It was almost the death of me! But this... this is unfair!"

ANTIE-D looked at the gwees, and they stared back. All three looked back at Taran, who was almost crying over Rose now.

"Move aside." ANTIE-D said. "I think I can help." ANTIE-D opened a panel in her side, and pushed a few buttons. Even though her logs seemed empty, she had her core basic program after all, and she knew what she could do. ANTIE-D closed the panel, and, flicking open small panels on her middle finger tips, put one on each side of Rose's chest.

"Back away, three feet. Now." ANTIE-D said forcefully but calmly. They did, and then ANTIE-D blinked twice. An electrical surge flowed out of ANTIE-D and into Rose from ANTIE-D's fingertips. Then she paused and pressed a finger back to Rose's neck. There was a pulse.

ANTIE-D sat back and watched a moment. Taran almost fell on top of her from leaning in so close, and Neko finally jumped off his head to go nudge Rose's hand.

Rose took in a breath like she had been buried under water for days. With it, she opened her eyes, and saw a sad sight. Taran was standing next to her, with streaks of blood running down his face and dirt all over it, too. His left arm was hanging limp-like on the side, and on his other side was ANTIE-D... but, an emotionless ANTIE-D. She almost started to panic, thinking there was something terribly wrong, but Neko brushed against the inside of her palm again, and she moved her fingers to pet the cat as she rubbed on by.

"Are... you okay?" asked Taran. Or, at least, Rose thought that was Taran asking. His voice sounded hoarse.

Rose opened her mouth to speak and ended up coughing instead. A lot.

ANTIE-D helped lift Rose into a sitting position while she continued to cough and try to regain her breath.

"Ow." Rose said when she finally finished coughing. She had about three broken ribs... and they were broken in more than one place, each.

ANTIE-D looked behind her, and seemed to zone out.

"What is it, ANITE-D?" asked Taran, as he stepped in to replace ANTIE-D as she stood up. He forced himself to not stare down at Rose, but looked at ANTIE-D.

"Updating..." ANTIE-D said. On Gaia, ANTIE had received feedback from Dragon's house that it had been cut off from contact from the Nerisa Altsoba. ANTIE had had to reprogram some pathways, but was finally able to reload ANTIE-D, who took only about fifteen seconds to download everything.

ANTIE-D turned and faced Rose and Taran. "Two things. One, I'm okay now, thanks for asking. Two... there's another person on this ship. Besides Dragon. And that person is where she is now. We should go make sure they are okay, as well."

And with that, they nodded agreement. Taran tried to help Rose up, but she ended up having to get up mostly on her own, as Taran's right arm was the only one that was useful, and she had already been using that to lean against. Once on her feet, the room tried to spin, and she almost fell over. Then she almost got sick. And managed not to. But she was severly pale, dizzy, and foggy-headed.

ANTIE-D walked over to the other side of Rose, and put her arm around her. with her other hand, she opened a compartment, and pulled out a tablet.

"Take this. It will clear your dizziness and some other side effects." ANTIE-D said, then put the tablet in Rose's mouth. It tasted like a dried up leaf might, and she really could have used some water, but they were already walking down the corridor. The gwees and Neko went up ahead, followed by Taran, Rose and ANTIE-D, walking three men wide.
