I had quite an elaborate scheme set up. I felt bad about changing my policy about sleeping with my fellow actors, but it was the best idea that I could come up with.
But as I walked her home from the theatre, I suddenly realized that all I needed to do was kiss her.

I still had the spell that the incubus had given me.

Fortunately, I had the excuse that I was helping her with her memorization after rehearsal. She needed the help, and no one thought it odd that I'd want to help her. As I said, Lucy was a good person.

There was no expectation of seduction to remove. And the kiss- easily worked into rehearsal. Something that could be talked around later. And thus, a relief to me.

Once she was asleep, I made quick preparations. The human mind is delicate, like the petals of a flower, but like paper in a memory book, easy to make impressions upon.
