I seriously need to clean this house. This weekend was super lazy. There are pretzels strewn hither and yon. Big Kid (herafter referred to as L) is lying through her teeth these days. Ah...three year olds. Little kid (hereafter referred to as B) is the one who truthfully dumped out the bag of pretzels they were sharing onto the floor but then I turned and watched as BK tossed handfuls of pretzel sticks into the air. When I said HEY! you pick those up! she said and I quote "B did it!" Insert incessent degrading and demoralizing arguing with a three year old over having watched her throw pretzels into the air finally reverting to the old stand by "do it because I told you so."

It's comforting to know that we all end up saying the same crap our parents did that we used to hate.

Lately I am Nintendo DS addicted. I sit at my computer doing reports and playing games. How is that for insane? I got it in September and have about 25 games for it already. I need to stop. I need a 12 step program or something. Some games I of course like more than others and I should probably re-case the ones I dislike and trade them in for something I would like more.

I have to say Mario games have gotten insane with the boss levels. In Super Princess Peach (all you REAL gamers can roll your eyes at me I don't mind) I have to hit the legs of the blooper, cry to clean up the ink, use her anger to hit it in the face when the legs are gone. All the while trying not to get picked up and launched in the air or smacked. It's frantic and insane.

I can't wait for the Final Fantasy for the DS to come out. I think that will definately be in my purchase future. And I'll probably have to wait until after Christmas to get my hands on a Wii.
