Okay here's the dealie.
I live in Saskatchewan I'm 18 and I'm currently taking some calsses in Graphic Design. There was a presentor at my school a little while ago telling my class about the Ai Vancouver facilities. I talked to my paretns about it and they were being like "You're acting like a child! This isn't something you want to do. Do your reasearch!" Fine whatever I'll do the goddamn reasearch. Later on my mom and dad are all "Yes we support you, yes we will help you."
So I get a call from the guy at AI and he wants to set up a phone conversation with my parents because he wants me involved in this school so I go talk to my parents. "Well jeeze I'm working and I just want to relax and your mom won't do it if I'm not on the phone and why don't you tell him to call back in a month..."
A month? A ******** MONTH!!
I'M SORRY BUT MY FUTURE CAREER CAN'T WAIT A ******** MONTH!!
Excuse my language but you get the idea why I'm so pissed.
So after a lot of going back and forth we finally set up a time on thursday at 7 for us to talk to him and get the INFORMATION my parents wanted me to get.
This peeves me off though...my parents are always telling me they'll support me in everything I do they'll help me they don't want me to settle but here my mom is making my future decisions for me and my dad is doing d**k ALL to help in actually making my goals reachable.
Just because my ******** sister is a total failure they expect me to be the same. I'm so sick of this I'm ready to pull out my hair, tell them to ******** off and just leave. Go anywhere but stay here!
Why do parents always judge their kids the same!? I mean...I've had my job for about a year now and in that one job my sister has gone through 5!! She doesn't save any money and is behind on her car payments while I'm actually ahead on mine!! We're completely differnet people yet my parents treat us the same in an unfair manner...it just....ARGH!!!
