I couldn't breathe, no matter how hard I struggled, I couldn't manage to catch my breath. For the second time, the twins helped me back to my apartment. They tucked me into bed and waited for my breathing to calm. I had to take several pain killers before I could talk.
“Suki- Saki ; I need to know. I didn't ask before, but I need to know now.” I closed my eyes for a moment, then they opened again, painfully slowly. “What happened?” Saki climbed up onto the bed on my left, and Suki climbed in on the right. They lay their red brown heads on my shoulders, and closed their eyes. Like this, they seemed to be normal children; which they very rarely appeared to be.
