Eheheh.. just thinking about it makes me giggle and this one is a definitely MUST-recount for my journal.
Two female visitors came to our school today and with them, they brought some condoms and leaflets. They were permitted into the school, you know, despite carrying all those stuff - I know because I observed the "Visitor Badge" which can only be received from the visitor's Reception after a visitor actually signs up. So there they came, with their boxes and stuff and took their place in front of the school library. Of course, with free condoms, it didn't take long for the corridor to be packed up with immature students.
I was in the library when the people started to fill in. I saw the tables, but I didn't pay attention. Mr. Case (the librarian) was more than interested on what was happening outside, but he didn't want to go and see for himself. So he kept repeating (much to my dismay) on how people should never deny free stuff because.. well.. it's free. Annoyed and rather curious myself, I exited the library with Roxanne close behind me and I tried to see what was happening.
Anyway.. yes, of course I saw it. I saw a boy in Year 8.. erm.. "trying out" with the packet. I did it already in sex education but it's just not normal!! I turned red, blushed furiously and I rushed back inside the library. Roxy saw me ran into the library so she turned around without seeing herself on what was happening. So I ran in, sat on the sofa and buried my head into my winter coat, giggling and laughing with Mr. Case beside me wanting to know what it was.
"What is it?" He asked. "Come on, it's not that bad, is it..?"
"Sir.." I muttered. "Sir.. they're giving out free.. condoms."
Imagine Mr. Case's face when I whispered that to him. He looked really really really GUILTY!! "Oh god.. trust me, I didn't know! I swear it, I didn't know, I'm sorry!" And on and on and on. He didn't stop feeling bad for what I saw there and I couldn't help but giggle all afternoon. It was hilarious - unbelievable as well. A public school.. and they were giving out free things like that *giggles* Seriously, Mr. Case was apologising even after the bell rang.
