Saki and Suki came in later, looking furtive, like they had done something wrong. They looked scared, more than anything. I ran the chain the silver key was on over my fingers and wondered if I could give them protection as well. For what it was worth, the protection spell was excellent, and I go the feeling that we could use all the advantage we could get. That occupied what parts of my brain were not involved with acting for the rest of the evening.
