'' We'll never give in to the likes of you.'' said Dussel, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small badge,'' we're of the royal knights of the kingdom of Reaoth.''
'' do you think we care?'' said another bandit, gripping his ax tighter and charging at Gordon,'' no matter who you are,you're about to die!'' Gordon waited until the bandit was right in front of him,he slid around him and rammed his sword into his side. The bandit fell to the ground,limp. Gordon removed his sword and turned back to the bandits.
The first bandit's face turned red with anger,he let out a horrible battle cry and they charged. Dussel ducked under a bandit's hammer and impaled him in the chest. Dussel spun around,letting the him slide off the end of his spear,slamming him into the first bandit. Gordon and Valden had there hands full,fighting off the last two bandits. They stood back to back swinging their blades, clashing them against the steel of the bandit's axes and hammers. Angelo was frozen,besides training,he had never been in a real battle before.
'' Get it in gear, Angelo!'' Dussel said, as he ran up to where Gordon and Valden where fighting,and shot his spear at one of the bandits .
He saw Dussel coming and aimed his ax swing in Dussel's direction. He broke away from his attack early,but was still hit. He rolled off to the side, and grabbed his arm to check the wound. Angelo's heart started to beat faster at the sight of Dussel being hit.
'' Dussel!''Angelo screamed,as he ran toward the bandit.''I'll kill you for harming my friend!'' he jumped and flew through the air as the bandit turned his head. Angelo's sword pierced the bandit's skull as blood covered his sword. Angelo placed his feet on his blood soaked arm and kicked off,removing his blade in the process. with the bandit out of the way,Valden spun sliced the other at the waist. He turned to Gordon with a smile on his face. A blood smeared smile,but a smile none the less. Angelo wiped the blood off his sword and re-sheathed it.
''you let your guard down!'' said the first bandit,running out of the forest. When Dussel flung the other bandit at him,he slid into the forest and waited for the right moment. He swung his ax at Angelo's head, with a twisted look on his face. Angelo closed his eyes and covered his head not knowing what else to do. He heard the sound of blood hitting the ground. He felt his arms to see where he had been hit. He didn't feel a wound,so he opened his eyes. He saw the bandit lying on the ground,three arrows stuck in his arm, and two in his chest. Angelo looked around,beads of sweat running down his face when he saw a girl standing standing on one of the tree branches form the forest.
'' he was right, ya' know,'' she said,jumping down from the branch,'' you did let your guard down.'' Angelo just sat there,stunned,His mouth hanging open. He stood up, regaining his train of thought.
''thanks,who are you,exactly?'' Angelo asked,still trembling from his near death experience.
''Oh, I've forgotten my manners. The name's...

''Oh, I've forgotten my manners. The name's Lilly,how ya doing?'' she said,taking her arrow out of the bandit and cleaning them.
''Well,'' he said, taking a moment to look back on his day,''besides me almost dying,I'm doing good.'' She replied with that weird little school girl giggle,and started to twirl her hair.
She was a little shorter than Angelo,with brown hair and deep green eyes. She wore a leather jacket with a matching skirt,a green shirt that matches her eyes,and a ninja fishnet under shirt.
'' So,'' said Lilly,who had stopped twirling her hair,'' why are you just walking around out here?''
''Were on our way to South Border Town to investigate what happened there.''Dussel interrupted, making sure that Angelo didn't reveal any information about their mission.
'' That sounds like fun! Can I come along?'' she asked, her green eyes sparkling. Angelo could tell that they were a lot alike, she felt the same way that he had felt when he had first heard about the South Border Town. She obviously wanted to go on this adventure as badly as he had wanted to.
''Fine,but only until we get finished helping at the border. I think you might be able to help us.'' Angelo said, as he turned and started to leave. Dussel and the others followed him, retuning there weapons to there rightful places.
'' hey,'' Lilly called,walking up to Angelo and somewhat startling him,'' you never told me your name.'' She took a step forward and started walking backwards, to face everyone.
''I'm Angelo,'' he said, turning to face the rest,''that's Dussel, Gordon, and Valden.'' He pointed to each as he called their names.
'' So why did you decide to go to the border to check it out? Is it a mission from the army?'' Lilly asked, the look on her face changing as she asked the second question.'' You're not... in the army,are you?'' Angelo could turned back around and took a few more steps forward, to put a little distance between him and the others. He waved his hand as to tell Lilly to come closer. Angelo knew that Dussel didn't want him to give away any information,and he could feel his eyes burning into the back of his head. Lilly moved closer and leaned in.
''they are,but I'm not .'' Angelo whispered to Lilly, so that the others couldn't hear him.
'' Then why are going with them?'' she asked, leaning in farther to talk to him face to face. Angelo turned to see her green eyes pulling him in. he blinked a few times to clear his mind.
'' Because I'm the one who made it a mission.'' he said, watching Lilly's face put on a confused look,'' I'm the prince of the kingdom of Reaoth.''
