Lilly awoke to find an empty space on that black sofa where Lucias had been sitting, she sighed slightly, as she slowly got up and looked outside of the window, seeing that the moon was high in the sky and glowing white. lily's deep blue eyes widened as she stared at the moon. Unlike most people, Lilly had an unfounded love of the dark and the night; where as the rest of humanity feared it.
Lilly moved away from the window, pulling the heavy black curtains over it, blocking out the light of the moon. She then sat down in the sofa that her and Lucias sat in, wishing he was there. A black bat with red eyes was one of the smaller animals to be petted. All the other students where scared of it, but Lilly walked over and stroked it, felt its wing. The book, which she now held in her hands, had a texture very akin to a bats wing. The title of the book was.
“The Book Of Vampyres. Written by Darius Shadow-Fang” She spoke quietly, as if some oppressive foreboding presence hung over the words, but the true reason for her careful speech was an attempt to contain herself, as this book was regarded as the ultimate book for vampire enthusiasts. Contained in its leather covers where the secrets of all things vampritic.
All of the folklore, the legends, the myths, the facts, the fiction. Though she knew that this book was purely a work of fiction she had still searched the Internet for years to find this book. Lilly almost had it once, but a minute before she won the auction on
E-bat (A vampire enthusiasts shopping website.) some one bid one penny more then she did, and before she could bid again it was sold.
She opened the cover of that black volume and smiled widely, there was the sweet smell of fresh roses rising from the pages, and as she turned the next page she slowly and carefully began to read.
