After i told Garnet my tale, i thought she would leave me for nearly killing one of my best friends; but she did the opposite and we stayed together till fell asleep with happiness (we had to leave early though, since the police and local gangs around this area are not very keen on me or Garnet...)
Maybe i've proven to God or some higher power that i've suffered for long enough and they've sent Garnet has my reward after 3 months of solitude, pain and loneliness...
Either way, I've been given a second chance of happiness....
And Nothing is going to take Garnet away from me....

Area Unknown - Inside a House - Midnight
The house was pitch black; no lights were on, except for the small lamp, which was on top on a table.
A man, opening a box of shotgun cartridges, was sitting on the bed.
On the bed side table was a 16-round shotgun, which the man picked up and start to load.
Once he loaded it, he aimed it at the lamp and fired. The shot was deafening and the lamp was destroyed and scattered everywhere.
The room was covered in total darkness.
A click of a gun reloading was the only noise that penetrated the darkness....
Birmingham - Under the Canal Bridge - 9:30am
Lee was looking at the river; it had suddenly frozen overnight because of the freezing weather, but that didn't dampen Lee's or the homeless people's spirit. In fact, it made it more stronger.
Garnet, wearing a thick clothes over her black dress and jeans, was looking around, she couldn't help be amazed. Barrels full of wood were set alight to keep everyone warm. The flaming orange glow was bouncing off the walls, creating human shadows, which the kids used to make shadow puppets.
'It may not be Christmas yet, but everyone's celebrating already', Garnet spoke cheerfully. She gave Lee a bright red bauble, which gleamed in the winter sun.
'Looks like i'm not the only one whose in a good mood', Lee said. 'Do you wanna go round the park with me again today; the scenery there is absolutely beautiful.'
Garnet thought about this, she smiled cutely and replied, 'Yeah sure, as long as i can hurl snowballs at you?'
Lee laughed, 'You can try Garnet, but not if i get you first', and they both began to walk up the park.
Birmingham Park - 10:30am
The mist and the Sun gave the park the most beautiful view of the scenery; the birds were twittering softly whilst the trees rustled quietly in the light wind.
Garnet was seating on the hard, frozen ground whilst Lee was hovering in the air, doing tricks for Garnets enjoyment.
'You are like a dancer, very stylish and very elegant', Garnet said as Lee backflipped in air.
'Thanks, it did take me a while; but it was the easiest to learn', Lee replied.
'So...If flying is the easiest to learn, whats the hardest?' Asked Garnet, looking interested.
'Ooh, thats a toughie.' In a way, Lee was right; he had to master a lot of techniques when he first had these powers.
'I would say... i don't know; i could write a list down and i still wouldn't be able to find the answer', Lee laughed, being beaten by an easy question. Garnet laughed lightly.
'I've never been this happy in a while', Garnet said truthfully. She watch the Sun disappear slowly in a sea of light clouds.
Just then, a family, coming from the direction of the Canal Bridge, were running away from something. One of them, a little girl with hazel eyes, was nursing what appeared to be a shotgun wound in the leg.
'What happened?' asked Garnet, looking with horror as all three looked bloody and battered.
'M-Marcus and his twisted friends.....They've got the Leader...and they shot my daughter', said the mother frantically. Lee looked at the wound, which was pouring with blood every second.
Lee knelt beside and put his arm on the wound and closed his eyes, the girl looked with wonder and didn't flinch at all.
Lee's hand began to glow faintly; he let go of his hand and the wound, to everyone's (including Garnet) surprise, it was completed healed.
'Thanks....' The little girl blushed.
'You best get out of here, this could get rough and dangerous', warned Lee. 'Find the nearest police station and tell them about what you saw.'
Whilst the family ran as far away as the Canal Bridge, Lee and Garnet ran towards it...
Birmingham - Under the Canal Bridge - 11:30am
All was quiet and still as Lee and Garnet walked cautiously, the sound of their footsteps echoed everywhere. The area looked at as though someone had used grenades because wood and bits of metal were everywhere. Small flames were everywhere and casted an menacing shadow; one or twice, Lee thought one of the shadows was following him. After 6 minutes of walking and looking around in shockingly; two people, both wearing blue jeans, both wearing a black shirt, and both carrying a 9mm Pistol. They were was standing guard, talking about what has just happened.
Lee told Garnet to keep quiet whilst he ran behind some stacked piles of lumber. He sign-languaged Garnet to follow him. When Garnet was safely concealed with Lee, they heard some of the conversation.
'Marcus must be deseperate... Mind you, if some punk had beaten you, would you stand for it?' asked one of the guards.
'No, but you seen the way that person beat Marcus. All he did was touch him and the area was covered in light; next thing we know, he and us lot are on the floor', spoke the other guard.
As the guards continued their conversation, Garnet was looking for Lee for an answer.
'Found a way to get pass the guards?' Asked Garnet.
Lee nodded. He and walked up to the guards causally. He was about 2 metres away when he called out 'Oi lads!'. The guards turned around and jumped when they saw Lee.
Its Lee, shoot him!' shouted one of the guards. One of the guards had Lee had gunpoint, But Lee kicked them both in the stomach before they could use their pistols .
'Too easy....' Lee muttered darkly. They both began walking until they saw all the homeless people sitting down, with their heads in their knees.
Garnet looked at them sadly. 'This is terrible....'
Lee looked around for the Leader; but a man, wearing mostly grey clothing, was tapping him frantically.
'Get out of here, its a trap...' The man was looking scared, but Lee couldn't figured out why.
'Whats wro-' Lee was interuptted by the sound of several clicks. He looked to see Marcus and his friends, all wearing black clothes, armoured boots and carrying shotguns. The Leader was handcuffed by tight rope; he had one black eye and a cut lip, which was oozing blood.
'Well, looks like our plan work effortlessly', Marcus boasted, all of them were laughing. 'See, I've been doing research about you and we decided to get a little pay back,' Marcus spoke evilly.
'As if, none of them will touch me', Lee answered back calmly.
'Ahh, thats what we thought, i know that you can heal any wound you receive....but it appears you cannot heal yourself if you've been shotted in the heart', Marcus continued.
'HA! You ain't gonna be able to fire them all at me', Lee answered back again with a smile, though he knew that Marcus was right. If they all fired at the same time, he wouldn't be able to heal himself. But he also knew that wasn't going to happen, he would be too quick for any of the guns.
However, what Lee didn't know was that one of Marcus's friends, also carrying a shotgun, was behind him. He aimed his shotgun and waited for Marcus for the signal.
'Oh really, care to bet on your life? Marcus said, nodding at something. Lee didn't noticed until the gun behind him shot him.
It made a sickening 'BANG' as the cartridge was fired and four bullets lodged up Lee's right leg, whilst the other four went through his right hand. He was kneeling in pain and agony and was screaming as if his soul had been condemned to Hell. Lee knew that he would be able to heal himself in a few seconds, but Marcus and the rest were already in a firing squad position.
'Looks like you're not so tough after all, you little punk!!!' Marcus shouted. Lee looked with pure horror as the shotguns were aiming at him.
'So Long, tell the Devil that i sent you', Marcus said. He readied his shotgun and shouted 'Fire!'.
Just as death was at Lee's door; Garnet stepped in front of him just as they were all about to pull the trigger.
'Leave him alone; you wanna shoot someone, shoot me!' Garnet shouted at them. Lee looked at her; she was going to die for him.
'G-Garnet.... You don't...' Lee spoke, but the pain in his leg was getting worse.
'Its okay.... I'm going to accept my fate...' Garnet smiled at him and then turned her eyes to Marcus, who was unmoved by this.
Marcus's men stepped back with shock, some even dropped their weapons. Marcus muttered 'To Hell with this....' Just as Garnet spoke to Lee, Marcus shot her.
'I Love you Lee' - BANG!!!
'GARNET!!!' Lee shouted.
The cartridges went through Garnet; the cartridges twisted and exploded inside her as they went through her delicate flesh and with so much impact that she fell to the hard, cold floor. Blood was splattered everywhers. She was shaking with shock.
But Garnet had given Lee enough time to heal his wounds, and as soon as he could stand up, and he flew into an uncontrollable rage. He punched one guard in the face 10 times before throwing to the hard wall.
'Fire again!' Marcus shouted. As the others were about to fire at him, Lee aimed his hand at all five of them. With rage pumping in his heart, An dark energy beam forced out of Lee's hands and hit all five of them.
'DIE!!!' Lee shouted darkly
There was a loud 'BOOM' caused by the impact and thick, dark smoke was everywhere. When the blacken smoke cleared, Marcus and his twisted friends were not dead, just looking burned and knocked out.
The Leader and the homeless, shocked at what had just happened, hung their heads with sadness and watched as Lee was at Garnet's side. Lee couldn't believe it....
'Garnet...' Lee spoke softly and sadly. Garnet started coughed and spluttered; she turned her head and looked at Lee blearily.
'Why did you do it, you didn't have to die for me...' Lee spoke softly, tears were starting well in his eyes.
'I did it because i love you,' Garnet spoke softly. She was shaking a little., so Lee took his leather coat off and put over Garnet to keep her warm.
'Lee... I wanted to protect you for a reason; you made me happier than you had known, you told me parts of your life that made you who you are....' Garnet said, she too was beginning to show tears down her beautiful face.
Lee held her hand, which was faintly warm, but still soft to the touch. He noticed that her pulse was starting to weaken.
'Garnet, please don't go', Lee cried, he didn't want her to go and leave him behind.
'A part of Life is accepting your fate and confronting Death in the face; thats what you told me,' Garnet laughed weakly.
Garnet's hands reach out into a pocket and gave Lee a plain, silver ring.
'I want you to have this, its my gift to you for all you have done for me', Garnet said before she started to cough,
Lee held out his right hand and the ring felt warm.
With what little strength she had left, she kissed Lee on the lips, one last time.
'I Love you.... Lee', Garnet said. She looked at Lee's pale blue eyes, which were full of loss, for the last time and closed her eyes, with the last few tears dropping. Her hand slowly starting to release her grip with Lee's hand.
Lee hung his head and shouted as long and as loud as he could.
After that, he started to cried, still holding on to Garnet's cold hands.
