So as I was I continued to trudge through the grass in my giant boot. My heart was racing! I would finally get to be a Gaia Warrior!! Today was my day and nothing was going to ruin it. Or so I thought... I walk through the feild and up ahead I see the entrace to the training yard. I was ten feet away from my dream! I nearly ran as I came through the wooden gate. In the middle of the crowd I saw a table ready for me to hand over my letter. "Well, here it goes!" I thought as I took a deep breath and stepped up to it. "Hello and you are??" The man before me started and then looked up at me. " I'm sorry.. are you lost?" He asked in disbelief. "Only if this isn't the registration table for The Battle Guild.." I stated proudly. " I'm here to sign up!" The mans jaw dropped as he continued to stare. "Sir is there a problem?" I asked starting to get angry. "Well for starters your a woman." He smiled cruely. "And I don't see what the diffrences in gender have anything to do with this current situation." I Glared. " No women allowed." He said simply. " My being a woman still dosen't exclued the fact that your note said that if the original receiver of the note wishes he may send a differnt participant." I answered. He sat in silence for a while. " Oh I get it you think I won't be able to handle what you so called 'men' can do. Fine then give me a challenge. I will overcome it." I boasted. A crowd was begining to form. " Ok miss warrior. In training many years ago it was considered amazing when a warrior could shoot an arrow and hit something as small as a leaf. You will be given the same task." He smirked thinking i would never pass. I smiled back for I knew how much I could do with a bow. He handed me one and some arrows. " You get one try or else you fail." He said and when I had myself in position he let go of the leaf 10 yards away. It was as if my eyes focused in on only the leaf itself. The arrow slid through my fingers and in seconds it connected with the leaf and it flew into the pole behind it pining it there. I lowered my bow. " May I register now?" I asked smug in my confidence. " Only if you plan to work only with the bow." He said trying not to lose his fight. " I plan to be a full warrior and nothing less." I answered stubbornly. " Then you must pass another test." He stated. " Sure." I Said smirking. I think it is going to be a long battle. " Now you must prove to us that you can fight off the toughest warriors. You will be fighting Syren." He said stepping away so I could see the man who stood behind him. He towered 6 feet in the air and was appox. 200 pounds all muscle. " My name is Stelluna, It will be a pleasure beating you today." I said. The crowd laughed at my stupidity. But I knew better. I would win this fight. " Go!" Said my new found friend.(Not) Syren came close to me but I stood firm. He started to smile at my lack of endurence. Thats when I made my attack. I punched his stomach with the force of a horses kick and while he bent over I jumped kicking off of his shoulder flipping in mid-air and landing on the ground behind him. As he turned he looked like a raging bull about to charge. Unfourtunatly for him he came at me head lowered and therefore I had another open move. I let him ram but he came through the hole I had made with my arm. I had his head locked and I grabbed the back of his pants and hurled him off my shoulder. He landed on his back behind me grunting in pain. From behind me I heard thim roll to get up. When i heard him move to hands and knees position I did a back flip and landed on his back returning him to the ground. He forfitted and I asked the question again. " So what do you think? Can I Join?" I Asked. " Well there is another tes.." " Oh give it up! She is pleanty worthy off a spot in this guild! She took out our strongest! The least you can do is cut her some slack Trillion!" A man (or young man) from behind me called out. I Turned to see my helper. " Thank you!" I Answered sincerely. " Your Welcome. It's Freezefire." He introduced. " Ehh hem!!" Trillion coughed. I retuned my attention. " You may join as a part of this Battle Guild. Congratulations and Welcome." He greeted without any feeling. I nodded appreciattly and smiled. " As for your lodging..." He trailed off. " Yeah I figured that may be a problem so I brought a tent!" I smiled. " You were very confident this morning weren't you Stelluna?" He asked not as a complement. " Well Sir Trillion as a Warrior you must be prepaired for anything." I answered with a devious smile that earned me big "oooo" session from my knew warrior friends.
