***************************************************** After I had set up my tent I went out in search of my new friend Freezefire. Such a strange name putting something like freeze close to something like fire. But I guess mine was a little strange too. I chartered the grounds looking for any sort of human life. It was deserted. I hoped I wasn't missing an important meeting. But surley they would have came and found me right? As I thought to myself not paying attention whatsoever to my surroundings I bumped into someone. " Sorry! Oh Freezefire! I was looking for you." I said glad the world wasn't deserted anymore. " Well I was looking for you so its a good thing we found eachother or else we'd be late." He said taking me by my hand and pulling me along. " Late? But for what?" I asked. " The Trainning assignments. Where we are going to be placed for training! Thats why I came to find you everyone else said you would find your own way." He said with anger in his voice. "I'm sorry are you mad at me for making you late?" I asked a little worried. " Oh no! I just was angry that they wouldn't help you! They've all been here atleast one year but you are a first year." He said smiling back at me. " What year are you?" I asked. " A second year but hey theres no reason that we can't hang out." He gave a sideways half-smile that made my heart flutter. " Well good because your the only friend I have." I said shyly. " Oh thats not true!" He said shocked. " But I thought you said noone was willing to help me?" I said. " Oh and my two friends they are covering for us!" He said winking. Finally we ran through the clearing towards whereever he was pulling me. He stopped us by to guys. One very big and hard to miss and the other was small and you probably couldn't see him if he wasn't in plain sight. " Hey you guys are just in time the training master is coming down from his dojo." Said the small one. " Hi my name is Trysten and yours is Stelluna right? It's good to finally see a girl get the right to fight!" He said smiling widely at me. I couldn't help but smile back. Then there was a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see the big guy looking down at me. " Hi my name is Leo. It's good to meet you!" He said in a kindness that I honestly at first could not picture coming from him. " You too!" I answered. Looks like my time here would be getting better! " Where is SHE??" I heard a voice yell above the crowd. In other circumstances everyone would wonder who 'she' was but all eyes turned to me. A man about 6' 2' came towards me and grabbed my arm pulling me out into the empty space that everyone was circled around. My new friends were looking at me with frightened eyes. This couldn't be good. " What my dear is so special about you that we should allow you to join us in battle?" He asked. Instead of withering I stood tall. " I have the will and the power of any man here and I can fight with the same amount of ferocity." I stated clearly. " Oh really? Do you have the strength? Could you fight anyone? Including me?" Now you must understand that this was a very tall and very muscular man. " Yes. Yes I could fight you." I answered proudly. " I'm sorry let me restate that. Could you win in a fight against me? When you know the fact that all the men in this feild have failed in doing so?" He asked. " I understood sir. And Yes I could win in a fight against you. I Have no doubt." I said strongly. " Then what can you say for all the men who haven't??" He asked getting smug. " They must have had doubt." I answer plainly. " Then lets fight now." He angrily stated. " Ok." I agreed. My friends gave me looks of sympathy. I couldn't let them down. I stared down my opponent. He was eyeing the left side of me as of where to hit. Which meant he was going to go for my right side. He charged then toward my left side but hten quickly veered right fist rasied. I Shot out my hand at the last second clasping his fist and bending it backwards far enough to break it. His other fist came flying as I knew it would and I grabbed that one to kneeing him in the face then dropping him to his knees. He stood never ready to give up and charged. I dropped my shoulder and charged toward him. I had already doubled his speed by the time he was even close to me. He stopped confused at my rapid speed and taking his lead I rammed into him sending him flying over my shoulder. He got up quickly and jumped onto my back. He was going to try to pin me down but it wasn't going to happen. I jumped suprisingly high with him clutched onto me and letting all my weight rest in my shoulders I fell hard to the ground crushing him under me. He released his grip. I stood over him looking into his eyes. Then loud enough for everyone to here. " I Forfitt." Eveyone in the stunned crowd cheered and I turned to walk away. " STELLUNA LOOK OUT!" Freezefire yelled running towards me. I Whipped around leg flying through the air taking out the dojo masters arm and sending the dagger flying. I jump into the air catch the knife and flip landing in front of him dagger raised. " Would you like to play with knives? Because I'm quite good at that also??" I asked angrily. He bowed before me. " I am honored to train you Stelluna. I Know that you will never fail." He said. " And if I do?" I asked challengingly. " Then I would see the winner walking away looking like he wish he were dead from the pain." He looked up and winked. " Though I don't know if there is much more I can teach you." He answered. " You can teach me whatever you wish." I answered Pulling him up by his hand and returning his dagger. " That is yours now. Rightfully earned." He said. I smiled and Freezefire was the first to pick me up then everyone jonied in. I was on there shoulders when the trainer yelled " Long live Stelluna! Let her training as a full warrior fufill her life!" And the crowed cheered.
