Se'rox: Intro to Heartless
If there was anything Se'rox disliked, it was flying creatures. And these were exactly that. But she'd been to the Pridelands before, and flying creatures all landed eventually.
"These are Heartless, Flan-cake. They're a pain, since only a keyblade weilder can really kill them. We can destroy them, but they'll just reappear. These ones fly, but we'll encounter some that don't. I've heard that they are all black, which is apparently a telltale sign for Heartless." Se'rox didn't add that their footsteps were odd, too; almost as if their bodies were unnaturally hollow. That's the only way she could ever distinguish Heartless from other creatures and monsters. She turned to Dai and Flan, and away from the sounds of the Heartless.
"Dai, if you can keep ahold of your little friend there, we should run for the graveyard. These things won't follow us, and there will be enough of a battle waiting for us at the graveyard. We don't need to waste our energy here." She frowned. "If I fall behind, don't get too far ahead, but don't stop completely."
Se'rox was tempted to tell them that she was probably the best candidate for scouting because of her "seeing" ability, but she didn't want to go into all of that for the moment. Besides, she wasn't sure where she stood with Flan, anyways. Calling her Mole and all that. It was too uncertain.

Rose: Prepping
There had been a time where Rose might have shown some kind of worry, concern, or question in her facial expression following and during n**'s news on their situation. But not anymore. She had started learning to be a Queen, and she was beginning to understand where Dragon's outward cool came from all the time.
"So." Rose began. While her face was controlled, she still had more questions back than answers for now. "First off, I worry how much this alternate Nogard might know about the rest of us. Goodness knows there could be an alternate all of us in her alternate dimension. But I agree that Broden would be more helpful in, say, watching the ship than anything else. But I don't know what kind of power you think Taran has... sure, he's a Dragoon, too, but he's just a sorcerer past that. Not so helpful... though I'm sure we could do something with that."
"I think I can come up with something to help you out though. It's risky, though. I can use a layer of dense air on your skin that, tilted correctly, will divert the star's UV rays. The risky part is, if I become unconscious, the spell will end. So that's your call, there." Rose sighed after that part, and then quickly went through her mental list again on what she was trying to respond to.
"Oh, yes. And, in case you are worried about some kind of backlash for insubordination, don't. I know I am only part of the Honorary Dragon Dynasty, as being Dragon's GodDaughter, but as a Queen, I am assuming command of this rescue mission, and am ordering you to not divulge sensitive information to Broden at this time." Rose nodded. That should work.

Taran: Hey, it's my ship!
Taran frowned as the girls moved off without giving him any real answers. As the door closed after them, Taran quickly typed something into the panel built into his captain's chair. It beeped and errored at him. He frowned at it. The words "Privacy Mode" scrolled across the panel screen.
Taran grumbled to himself as they sped along. What were they talking about that they couldn't or wouldn't tell him? This was his ship, after all! He was doing them a favor, was he not? He practically pouted as he sat in his Captain's chair.
DOS stared at him curiously.
