Seeing the house of 'comforts' that Edward had been in his last night gave me a shock. It was much less brillant and noisy durring the afternoon, but it was the same place, almsota year after the fact. A normal man would have no cause to find someone who had been there then; a police officer would be hard pressed to find any information; but I was sure I would be able to find something that would lead me to Edward's attacker.
But first, I had a show to do.
Vengenge might keep a man going through pain and dispair; but I fully intended to have a life afterwards, so I needed to keep up my employment.
