An entry in the afternoon?! No way!
Anyway, I'm sure those that read my journal have been waiting for this entry for a while.
RELIGION & THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
In this entry, I will be attacking both religion and the Catholic Church.

How did I come to this? After analyzing the world's popular organized religions, I have come to the conclusion that organize religion is a system of control. Remember the Dark Ages? Guess who was in control, The Catholic Church! For about 1,000 years, the Catholic Church DOMINATED the feudalistic society that was Europe. The common peasant was illiterate, not even smart, had to answer to a landlord, and had no rights. At the top of the hierarchy were the clergy. That is your Priests, Bishops, Archbishops, the whole nine yards.
IF YOU WERE AS HOLY AS YOU CLAIMED TO BE, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE CONTROLLED A SOCIETY FOR 1,000 YEARS AND BE DRUNK WITH POWER!
Next, there are the extremists. There was one in my local Church (Hehe, an Agnostic in Church! Even better, I work there! xd ) taking the place of one our Priests during the sermon after the Gospel reading. I could tell she was an extremist by the examples she gave. "We're [Catholics] at war with music, movies, and society. We are living in a culture of DEATH. Abortion is an intrinsic EVIL."
Sounds like Jack Thompson.
She gave her life story and it seemed so damn emo. She went to Catholic school for 9 years, and was happy to get out for the public school system.
She started lying, cheating, doing drugs, drinking, having sex out of marriage (OMG!1!1!1), and had an abortion.
She said that all of the things that "were suppose to be good according to today's society did not help me. Instead, I went back to Church."
This is where I started to get really pissed off.
"I have realized that society is wrong and the Church is right."
That's when I started to think: WEAK.
WEAK.
WEAK.
WEAK!!
How can you not survive on your own you little whore? That's right, you're now a whore because you slept around. You deserve all your pain because you had NO morals whatsoever. A teen with half a brain today would know that it's NOT right to sleep around.
She seemed impressionable and dependent on other people in order to survive.
PARASITE! WEAKLING! INFERIOR!
If she was an animal without a family, she would die due to natural selection. She is WEAK.
Anyway, enough of that weakling inferior parasitic woman.
After months of hearing Catholic preachings and readings, I now still sense control. That's right, in the year 2007, the Church is STILL attempting to control people.
No surprise eh?
I also seem to notice that when Religion is in control, intellectual productivity shoots WAY WAY WAAAAY DOWN. This means the Church is scared that people will smarten up and throw the tyrant out of rule.
What one thing kills more people than natural disaster and political wars? RELIGION. Prime example: The Crusades! NINE OF THEM, according to Wikipedia. Who knows how many people died during them. All in the name of religion.
The NAZIS claimed to be Christians. Look how many people they slaughtered.
Christianity has the most extremists of ANY religion. Islam has the biggest and most violent mouth.
Galileo was executed by the Inquistion for heresy. This was due to the fact that the Church was scared about the truth: The Earth revolves around the Sun, which contradicted the Christian belief of the Sun revolving around the Earth.
However, there has to be some type of divinity out there. There is always a starting point. Where did the Big Bang come from? How did that start? Something cannot come out of nothing. Just like the age old question: Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
We don't know. Human minds aren't capable of comprehending that something can come out of nothing. What was the cause? We know the effect, and that is the formation of the universe.
The big question is, what caused the universe to form?
If you asked questions like this during the Dark Ages, you might've been executed.
Even science is growing. There is so much that we don't know. Science fiction is slowly becoming reality as well.
But what really boggles my mind is the fact that there are so many compassionate people under the control of TYRANTS.
