"Thanks father," I said while leaning into his ear, "I was unaware I was unable to make decitions for myself". I then turned and followed Leon's lead. As we walked onto the dance floor everyone cleared away and the music change to a lovers foke song for the romantic stuff. I wanted to turn and walk away but pride and the idea of throwing this spoiled prince off his pedistal kept me from my idea. He lead me in the steps but I didn't miss one note. It became a challege however for he to was perfect. Finally Leon requested to take this up a level and played a more fast paced song. which again I matched with ease despite the fact I could no longer feel my toes in the cursed shoes.
Then Leon released me and started to do his own dance while I watched and on his que I kicked off my shoes, steped forward hicked up my skirt away from my legs and followed suit but blew his out of the water, so to speak. I managed to make his jaw hit the floor as I moved my feat in intrect paterns, another good thing about being a fighter is timeing and strong endurance. smile Finally he backsteped and lost the beat in the third go around but to his credit he manage to keep his composure. He started to walk torwards me and request to slow things down a bit and so my father once again catered to his request for me.

He pulled me close at this point thinking he had earned the right to hold me so. I had tryed to give myself some space but it did me no good for his embrace was stronger than I expected.
"Katheren, I wish to go ahead with the engagement, and marrage on you father's request." I stoped cold in my steps and stared into his eyes stare
"I am sorry, Leon, could you repeat your last statement for me"
"I said, Katheren, I am ready to go threw to the engagement and marrage to you on you father's ...I am going to have your hand in marrage", He announced to all present and to my father aloud , "arrange the marrage, Sire, For I will not let another have your daughters hand." He quickly planted a kiss on my lips before I could stop it. I pulled away quickly and slaped him infront of all present.
"Excuse me, but this princess has a mind of her own and a say upon this matter for it is my hand not my fathers you would be marring. With all do respect Prince Leon, I must decline you offer." I heard gasps all around including my father start to say my name but the prince interupted.
"What, okay I admit I may have deserved the slap for the stolen kiss but, you can't turn me down on this marrage for you don't have a choice, it was your fathers idea."
"Well, I will not marry you, I hardly know you, much less love you."
"Katheren, that will be quiet enough," Said my father as he intervend.I turned to him and glared, I cared not who saw.
"Father, I am more than capable of choosing who I marry and I will not be forced. I grow tired of all this, hinting and pushing. I will have freedom or I will leave and renounce my birthright here and now." Even the prince backed away on that one to give me room.
"Katheren, you are not yourself I think you have been pushing yourself to hard with being ill, and your excersizes, will retire to rest."
"No, I will get some air," I said as I turned to the garden not caring I still didn't have my shoes.
"I appologize, Prince Leon, she is still young."
"No need, Sire, I am still serious about what I said, let me talk to her" they reached an agreement on the terms and the day if all go well and with that the prince and Loki set off to the gardens to find me.

"Leon, you really want to marry her when she acts like that," Loki said waving his arms about. " I mean we both know what she has and that she is indeed fair for my spying told us that, but you could have any other princess, or young maiden willing to marry you, why this one?"
"Because Loki, I do enjoy this game and of course, I haven't meet her match yet. No I will have her one way or another."
"Leon, think about this seriously think with your head on your sholders"
"Loki, I will break her spirit, but that fire and defience is refreshing, I mean all those others were easy this is my greatest challenge yet I think just watch I will sweep her off her feet atleast. Besides her father is already in this I have him eating out of my hand, Katheren will be soon, Though I will say her friend Lady Star isn't bad either huh? Loki"
"Yeah she was good, I may peek on her next," the old man laughted, with that they strod off. As Star came around the corner, she couldn't believe what she just heard. She had to find Kat first.
