Not to discriminate against rap or anything, but I've noticed that the whole "gangsta" rap theme is quite prolific. Just 'Cause I felt like it, I wrote a short rap about how cliche' rap has become.
So you say you're from the hood and you're a homie-G/But where is your originality./See, every would-be rapper says they had a rough life/and every single song they write's about their strife./ So you know about drugs and prostitution./The only place that'll get you is an institution./The money that you have will be spent in rehab/ while I'll be busy making gold working in my rhyme lab.
Well that's it. Whether you like it or not, it's true. Rap is becoming watered down, not to say that there are no exceptions. Maybe if they were to explore themes besides the street life and anarchy, it would be more interesting.

You may not have asked for it, but you're getting it.
