so i've been thinking a lot lately (how weird, jessica. you don't think!) and i realized how shitty growing up is going to be. i mean, i've been reading that the best way to make a revolution and to make a difference is to get into the system and work from the inside. but the system is so lucritive that even a lot of the employees are just pawns. and there's so much wrong with the world and our countries and our crooked disgusting people that you never honestly know what you're fighting, because you don't understand the full story; you only get a small portion. either that, or you sell your life to it for the sake of difference. but that's not worth it.
i think that people only want to make differences because they wanna find some sort of deeper meaning in life, and to find that meaning, they must open every door possible and find out the motives, solutions and errors behind every rise, fall, and stagnant era. they wanna make peace so that they will be free to discover and philosophize. but that's impossible. therefore, watching the news is a waste of time. most of the stations and the press is there to sway you, despite having an obligation to be unbiased. well, when you're being swayed one way or another and not given all the facts, or perhaps spoon-fed sugar coated lies to change your opinion, then you're only giving them the power that they've been wanting.
the world isn't in the hands of the lord. it's bounced back and forth from every political head's hands, like a volley ball. i just wonder when it's gonna hit the court. (stupid sports metaphors!)
anyways, what have we learned from this? that jessica doesn't wanna grow up. and that she likes cookies. she's gonna go get some right now.
later
